Are you using the Geo-Filter? If so, if you disable it does it let you continue?

Couple of reasons - when we released the R3, we were only just starting to reach speeds above 1Gbps and it's only now becoming a bit more common. Also, the cost, releasing hardware that at the time only a handful of people could fully utilize but everyone would have to pay for is a bit unfair. It's likely we'll have hardware like that in the future as it becomes more commonplace.

That's a shame, I still don't see a reason why it wouldn't work, you can accept that or try it really and see. WTFast have a trial for 3 days for example so perhaps worth a try.

Strict Mode was actually introduced a long time ago specifically for Destiny. It's been a long time and not many customers seem to play it anymore so I can't be certain if it's still needed at the moment, try with and if you run into any trouble disable it and see if that is better.

Haha no problem at all and no such thing as a router dummy! It is possible we'll have some proper functionality for it in future so do keep an eye on what we're doing and see if it may be worth a repurchase for you in future.

Yeah I think if it's really that stable it'll just be adding unnecessary ping for you - may be worth it if you force a further away server where the stability isn't as good

This definitely seems like a NAT/Port issue. Are there any settings on the router that you've made specifically for either device? When did the issue first occur? Remove all the port forwarding rules, keep UPnP enabled, reserve IPs for both devices on the interface as above. Reboot the router, wait 4 minutes then try please. Are both devices connected directly to the router, either via ethernet or WiFi or are they going through a switch, extender etc?

I certainly am, I'm basically everywhere! Of course, not at all, I get your confusion as to why you would have expected the R3 USB port to have function considering the XR500 did. The XR range had DumaOS & NG software, there software was all in the settings and included the USB functionality so it was already there when DumaOS was put on it, we've not actually developed any USB functionality ourselves ever (yet). No worries at all, just follow the details in the email.

In the Geo-Filter menu ( ) > Settings

Steady Ping does add ping so that it can absorb spikes/jitter so you have 1 consistent ping to the server and allows you to be more in sync. It's only available for PC yes but technically it would then apply to the console because it's getting its internet from the PC - technically it should, of course in practice it may not. There are a couple other services like that such as WTFast, have a look around, maybe one has a trial

At least here in the UK VLAN isn't very common and if something is required it's usually PPPoE. From what we've seen generally it's either one or the other, we don't get it too often where both are used but I take your point. I will definitely let the team know so they can look into it. Only PC I think but you'd need to double check, if it is you could technically bridge the connection so the PS gets the internet from the PC that way, maybe that would work

There is a bit of weirdness in the logs but nothing directly connected to the issue, what firmware version are you on? If you haven't done a factory reset for awhile I think this may be a good time to do so.

They could do something potentially but I don't think I've seen anyone successfully had them do it. Reason is that it's not a required change, if for example you were a professional gamer they *might* do something but only because it is vital to your business but even then I think you'd need to have a business internet account for them to really take it seriously. From what I've seen, those with particularly bad routing do have good success with something like ExitLag which is essentially a VPN but it just uses it to route you better to a gaming server.
