QOS and Adding Exceptions
Netduma Fraser replied to BrianDumaOS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Can you provide a screenshot of your full QoS page please? What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? -
I disconnect from the internet every day

Yes on the router > Settings > Setup > LAN Setup -
If you put the ISP router in modem/bridge mode instead do you then get IPv6 through the R3?

I've given you Early Access, try the firmware there and see if both improve https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ -
Request for 4.0.179 (Early Access Firmware)
Netduma Fraser replied to Chaiyoabc's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It depends if you're having any issues at all, if not then I'd suggest waiting for the public release, I've added you just in case. -

15-22 is a really good ping still. Where are you located approximately and where are they located? How do you have your Geo-Filter setup and what game are you playing?

In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. If your issue is local congestion then yes disabling QoS could allow the issue to happen so would be best to enable it - it shouldn't limit you that much, set Congestion Control to 70% -
What's the issue you're having with it exactly?
-
A full uncropped screenshot please that doesn't really give me any information for the issue

Speeds decline over time, requiring multiple daily restarts.
Netduma Fraser replied to Spazz's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As in it doesn't change colours, the RGB isn't on etc? -
Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?
-
The latest Early Access is .214 so I'd suggest upgrading to that but your Congestion Control settings need to be set lower, try 70% for download and upload and see if its any better.

Not sure how the above did help but worth a try. We're still testing the game for compatibility, it appears they're using proxies/relays so it may not be as easy as CoD for example.

XBOX Series X not recognized in Geo Filter
Netduma Fraser replied to ChelseaChris's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? Only devs can remote access and that's for major bugs if needed not for troubleshooting -
I can't say for certain but I haven't seen anyone report it

XBOX Series X not recognized in Geo Filter
Netduma Fraser replied to ChelseaChris's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. -

Double check the IP on the device when connected via ethernet then check for a device with the same IP on the Device Manager, rename it and add it to Geo as it may appear as something different than you're expecting. -
Most likely it's appearing as a different device on the router when connected via ethernet compared to WiFi due to the different MAC addresses which is normal. Double check the IP on the device when connected via ethernet then check for a device with the same IP on the Device Manager, rename it and add it to Geo.
-
Check the IP on your device with the IP shown for the device you think it is on the router Device Manager, do they match?
-
They should be able to get the client ID sorted for the next firmware. PPPoE speed will take awhile but I've seen people get quite high with PPPoE still

Strange Disconnects Cutting Off Internet Access
Netduma Fraser replied to Slamchez's topic in Netduma R3 Support
When it next happens, even if you can't access the interface via a PC, go to http://192.168.77.1/cgi-bin/logs.txt on the PC and you should be able to get the logs from there -

Netduma Fraser replied to FrankM530's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That all looks fine from what I can see, can you grab the logs from the System Information page when it happens again please and I can take a look -
No that wouldn't affect anything - if you put the Xbox in the DMZ on the R3 do you get open then?
