  1. Could be the DHCP release renewing, when it happens again (before you decide to change version) could you grab the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting please so I can take a look?
  2. The game ping in this instance
  3. Is this happening with all devices or one in particular? How often is it happening? You can downgrade to a previous version by downloading an older firmware file and uploading it to the router
  4. Could be VLAN, if we assume that is the case, can you have the ISP modem/router handle VLAN instead and then see if everything works as expected?
  5. CoD servers in particular don't respond to traditional pings, we try to be clever to counteract this but it doesn't work. In those cases we do a trace to the server - you can see that there Ping Method: Traced - and then take the last ping response we get and give you that ping. The server itself won't have this problem hence why it can provide you with the correct ping.
  6. Okay you're fine then, it's just what I mentioned, the router isn't limiting you in any way
  7. For the most part you won't always get the expected speeds there as depending on the server location it chooses it may vary. What do you get via speedtest.net?
  8. I think actually you'd benefit from doing another factory reset on the router and it should run smoother overall after that. The reason though that the SmartBOOST options are disappearing is because you can only prioritize by activities or devices, not both at the same time so if you pick one or the other and add your rules they should then save properly
  9. That's on the QoS page right at the top, also have you entered your expected bandwidth speeds on the router?
  10. Could you email [email protected] with your order number regarding this please?
  11. Where are you measuring the speeds exactly? How do you have Congestion Control set?
  12. We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. Make the change, wait 10 seconds then go off the page and back, is it saved then?
  13. Copy the WAN IP from the XR System Info page and enter it into the DMZ function on the Sky hub. Then just have all other devices connected to the XR.
  14. What do you mean you can't use it exactly? We're rewriting that feature completely at the moment as it's not as reliable as it should be.
  15. Is this actually appearing as a pop up window? What page is it happening on? Double NAT would generally indicate if you're using the DMZ on the upstream router that the IP has changed and so you may need to update it.
  16. You can keep the latest firmware, that will have just been for the Setup Wizard, you can enter VLAN in Settings now
  17. Unfortunately it definitely is too late as the team don't work the weekends and too late to do it today, we also generally don't add support for games during the betas as the game could change between then and release. I will mention it to the team though so they can be aware of it for release.
  18. That's great to hear, thanks for the update, certainly a weird one!
  19. Just to double check, you've managed to get past the wizard now?
  20. Yes that is the latest firmware. Where are you measuring the speeds, on the router or via speedtest.net for example? What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR?
  21. Which web browser are you using? - Does it have an Adblocker enabled, if so disable this and try again. Is it trying to force a HTTPS connection to the interface? It'll need to be HTTP. Are you using a VPN or Anti-Virus on the PC itself?
  22. No you don't need to do that, if it's connected direct to a pure modem (it has no WiFi) then you can ignore that point
  23. I can't see any of the pictures but make sure you're not using a browser based Adblocker on the interface and you're not connecting to the interface using HTTPS, it should be HTTP. Are all devices unable to connect via WiFi? So you have Smart Connect disabled for WiFi?
