Awesome, thanks for your purchase! Don't forget it is a support forum so you'll only see people posting issues here!

Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results (especially try width 80) Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Ping without steady ping higher in game still
Netduma Fraser replied to Movement's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The Geo-Filter still shows you what the ping is with Steady Ping on/off - in any scenario where the in game ping is higher it'll be due to processing delay. Potentially due to the ping method used above also but I suspect in this scenario as the pings are quite close that it'll be processing. -
EA DESKTOP is blocked by R2 adblock "fix"

Thanks for the report, we'll be adding this to the whitelist shortly -
Which firmware version are you on and what web browser are you using to access it?

Ping without steady ping higher in game still
Netduma Fraser replied to Movement's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I mentioned this to you in an upgrade topic but "In any scenario where the in game ping is higher than the Geo-Filter that will be the game processing delay, it's not something we have any control over but it can be used as a measurement to see how overloaded a server is. As long as it's not 30ms higher than the Geo you're good." -
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. As long as you don't then change Geo-Filter settings you don't need to do anything else, it will just work.

Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Would you be able to grab the log when this next happens please before doing a reset? By reset do you mean factory reset or reboot? So it doesn't reconnect on its own? The team are keen to get to the bottom of it, so if needed, would you be willing to enable remote access so the team could potentially remote in to take a look when it happens? If so, please: Ensure the R3 is in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router or the ISP modem/router is in modem/bridge mode Disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN on the R3 Enable remote support on the R3 Post back here when you've done that and when the disconnect happens (on Monday if possible, they're not available at the weekend to look) The team can then remote in at any time, no need for you to be present. -
XR1000 is just a target now
Netduma Fraser replied to noobfodder's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you don't make a topic to explain your issues we don't know you're having them and can't help. For the UI: Disable Armor if you're using it Make sure you're connecting to the interface via HTTP not HTTPS Disable any browser based Adblockers/whitelist the interface on it Clear browser cache/cookies and reload each page on the interface once at least How are you determining QoS isn't working exactly? What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Are you saying UPnP and port forwarding isn't working because you're unable to get an Open NAT? More IPs isn't necessarily a problem but if you disable Smart Connect it may perform better overall. -
Yeah you'd need to remove the router, anything 3rd party they will try to claim is the issue if they can't figure it out - you could just say I did what you said and got rid of the router but you're still having the issue

Connection Test Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Mr MuRFiE's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
I'll check in with the team about this on Monday and get back to you! -
It can work sometimes but not consistently. We don't have full support for the game, it's not an easy one to filter, we're looking into it further but it's not good news so far. It may be the case that the game can't be filtered.

Valorant on the latest firmware update:
Netduma Fraser replied to Perry's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay that's a pure modem so you can ignore that aspect you're good on that front. It could be local congestion perhaps, in Ping Optimizer > Advanced change Congestion Control to 70% for both download and upload and set to Always On, then see if you get it again please. -
The log only goes back to 11pm on June 7th unfortunately - might be too long had passed before you got the log so it was wiped, if it happens again try to get it as soon as possible after
-
That makes even more sense because the router wouldn't be able to see the traffic

Router disconnects, have to manually reset it
Netduma Fraser replied to Simon Thomas's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If you're connecting via ethernet how is it you're connecting it by clicking on the symbol? Access via the mobile app, does that then allow you to access via the web interface? -
ethernet not connecting until 30 seconds after wake
Netduma Fraser replied to clarkjo's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Change the DHCP lease to 10000, save, reboot the router then see if that happens less frequently -
Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!

Steandy Ping Expert doesn't work!
Netduma Fraser replied to Andpodepah's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Does the ping on the router actually say it's stabilized? If it doesn't then it wasn't able to apply and so the ping would not be any higher -
New Firmware put R3 OS4 into Boot Loop
Netduma Fraser replied to the kappa convict's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's good to hear! It's still a true connection, a lot of people will use that sort of configuration. We don't give out any ETAs as it is always subject to change but I will let the team know about the specific troubles you've had (they may want to look into this deeper with you if you'd be interested in helping?) and that may jump it up in priority. -
Not on the host no, if you go back from that view then click on your device name

Unable to get open nat type on COD games
Netduma Fraser replied to hotspot1817's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It looks like in both screenshots you're connected to servers in Aus no? You can see the manual here for the x82 https://www.asus.com/supportonly/rt-ax82u/helpdesk_manual?model2Name=RT-AX82U but if you access its interface then you should be able to find the option somewhere. -
Did it actually happen prior to getting that log? If so I can't see anything there myself so I'll need to pass it onto a dev to have a closer look

Valorant on the latest firmware update:
Netduma Fraser replied to Perry's topic in Netduma R3 Support
By connection drops do you mean you actually get disconnected then re-connected or more like you get a big stutter then it continues? If it's a proper disconnect do you notice it on any other devices? Are you using the Geo-Filter? Could you get the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting when it happens please? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode How have you setup Congestion Control?
