  1. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R2 (found on the System Information page) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R2 and enable remote support in Settings. Then post back here from a device connected to the R2 when you've done that and I'll try to get a dev to remote force an upgrade for you either today or tomorrow.
  2. Ah well done on resolving it! I've given you early access, please try this firmware and see if that resolves it: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57223-new-firmware-r3-dumaos-40402-disconnections-fix/
  3. It seems weird it's just this device and only on ethernet, does a new ethernet cable help? Have you tried connecting it to a different port on the router? Have you tried via LAN through your ISP modem/router?
  4. Resync the cloud on the Device Manager, Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap then check again please
  5. Do you see anything on the map even though it shows as inactive?
  6. Does it error out if you leave it long enough?
  7. We're aware of that, remove the device from the Geo-Filter, change it to an Xbox in the Device Manager, re-add it to the Geo-Filter, close Xbox app fully including from the system tray then start it up again and it should work.
  8. You can use GAMEON10 for 10% off at the checkout
  9. They're different protocols, they each have their benefits https://surfshark.com/blog/wireguard-vs-openvpn You should have extra files that need to be entered, could you provide all the files you received please?
  10. No they should both perform in the same way
  11. It might be that you need VLAN - with it directly connected to the ONT, remove the DHCP identifiers and just use PPPoE, save that, then for the MAC address cloning part put the fritzbox MAC address (likely on a sticker on the underside of it) then save. Then for VLAN put 911 save, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet please.
  12. Resync the cloud on the Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap as it is pinging correctly for me, see if it filters better then
  13. That sounds more like it's booting you out of the game server, what's your ping in the server when it happens?
  14. Explain it to me like I'm 5 then I'll be sure to get it
  15. Okay great but which method do you require when connected direct to the ONT? If you have details for both do you need both?
  16. I mean after the drop can you jump back into a game immediately? Is it just this device?
  17. That's something you'd have to do on the device itself - the router is just reading the MAC address from the device. What would be the usecase for this? Perhaps I can suggest an alternative. How are you doing a reset exactly? It should add the default names of the devices, does it not do that?
  18. Yes that shouldn't be a problem assuming you can force that server regularly
  19. Is it just that device? Can you search for a game immediately for example?
  20. It may show it as inactive but are you seeing servers on the map?
  21. Oh so you're using a VPN? You will have trouble getting an Open NAT then and those port forwards won't open the NAT. The VPN applies to whatever the rule is that you made, it wouldn't be affected by port forwarding
  22. You add numbers to their existing name e.g. 1 - PlayStation? Doesn't make sense to me personally but fair enough! You can't change the MAC on the router, it's a device specific identifier set by your device manufacturer. I can pass on the re-order request but I don't think it's likely to be added as it's not really needed in most cases.
  23. I can reproduce this for the most part, thanks for the reports, this will be a DPI/Cloud issue that we can fix without a firmware update, I'll pass it on
  24. Is it just that device being booted off ethernet? Seems strange that it's just happening when gaming, like the Geo-Filter is blocking a server
  25. You can re-enable it and we can resolve the initial issue or you can use port forwarding to achieve an open NAT. Yes Steady Ping does increase the latency to provide a solid steady ping that does not fluctuate, therefore putting you more in sync with the server. If you don't want the additional ping you can disable it and it will go back down.
