  1. Generally it's not necessary - if you can't ping the server it's of no use and talking to your ISP to get better routing to a game server is very unlikely to be successful. Also showing IP addresses also allows for people to see individual peoples IP addresses which is a security issue. That would be the server load to the Proton VPN servers which they control, we have no way of knowing what the server load is on game servers we don't control because we don't know the capacity, don't know how many people are connected to that server etc. It would be really cool if it was possible.
  2. Do you leave your PC in an instant on/standby state at all? That's fine the way you've added it. Resync the cloud on the Device Manager and Geo-Filter and see if Network Activity then picks it up please.
  3. Glad to hear you got it sorted, I will pass it onto the team so they can re-test and re-classify!
  4. If it's not shown in the change log it won't be included - as you can tell from the topic the focus was to resolve the slowing speeds issue and still focusing on the disconnects, they'll come to this not to worry.
  5. Set the port forward 3074 for you and then 3075 for the other device and see if that resolves it. Are both devices added to the Geo-Filter?
  6. Presumably you've split the bands then so you can connect to 5GHz specifically? Try this: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity of the router ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  7. Does it actually have a cascade mode? If not put the R3 in its DMZ or bridge the Asus to the R3 then that will prevent a double NAT, nothing else should need to be changed
  8. Okay thanks, I have passed it on to be added to the testing list.
  9. If you didn't already factory reset then try it again please
  10. What is the port rule you're trying to do? Can you provide a screenshot please?
  11. Add you all
  12. Do a factory reset on it then try again going through the wizard please - if you have another router handle PPPoE instead you wouldn't need to set that on the R3.
  13. We could continue over email as you messaged this there also but I'm pretty sure most router hardware comes with a USB port by default, even my ISP router has it and that has no function either. I'm not saying it won't ever have a function but the main purpose of the router is to improve your connection to gaming so that is the priority of development.
  14. Can you tell us more details please? It's not much to go off. Also is this log from the mobile app as I can't read it if so.
  15. I've given you Early Access so you can try the firmware posted specifically to see if it helps with disconnects: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/?do=findComment&comment=422537
  16. Is the Motorola a pure modem or does it provide WiFi as well?
  17. Were you able to improve your results? In terms of speeds they're absolutely fine.
  18. I'll ask the team to test it, looks like a fun game, some Gears of War vibes!
  19. That firmware is just for disconnects so you may encounter other issues with it but we're just concerned with that aspect - that firmware won't be used as a basis for next updates and we've already released a later one
  20. I would argue resolving actual issues would be a higher priority, however, if it was as easy as just putting a control option in there then we would. From what I gather it's a kernel level change and not something that can be toggled on the go.
  21. Okay keep us posted, we've had good results so far
  22. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. I'm guessing you may be playing on PC using Game Pass is that right?
  23. The exposed host is the DMZ essentially - check the IP the fritz is giving the R3, is it the same IP you entered?
  24. Remove the port forwarding rules then and DMZ if you've done it. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
