IPV6 Enabled Causing BufferBloat and Lower Speeds
Netduma Fraser replied to nickskep's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I've given you Early Access, could you see if that firmware works better please? https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ -
Could you provide some information I can work with please? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What firmware version are you on? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Are all devices disconnecting or just the game device? Is the game device losing internet or just kicked from the game?

I don't know what version you're on but this is the latest https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ Otherwise, go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, close the interface tab, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

I'll check in with them, they may not have been aware that it's this week

Netduma Fraser replied to ajack's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Thanks for the update, sorry to hear that but totally understand your position. I hope you'll consider our own brand of routers in the future. Locked as requested. -
Try and setup using the Nighthawk mobile app instead please and see if you can progress

I've explained the players thing before, it's not possible. Have you factory reset after upgrading to that version?

Which one to purchase?
Netduma Fraser replied to Ritchie1909's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's totally understandable, for what you want it for the XR500 is the best choice! -

Yes that's correct -

Haha no worries at all! I will be honest those routers will not be really getting any new feature updates so if you want something that is more current and will continue to see new features I'd go with the R3 really. If you'd still like to go with an XR then the XR500 would be the best option there -
Geo filter not running. This is came out of nowhere
Netduma Fraser replied to RME's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Not seen that before, hopefully it's a one off occurrence, if it happens again please grab the logs before rebooting and we can take a look -

Port 2 is showing being limited to 100Mbps, do you have another cable you can swap out with that one to see if it resolves the issue? -
Playing from Dubai - not finding Middle East server anymore
Netduma Fraser replied to AlanLJ's topic in Call of Duty Support
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and then see. This will completely lock you to your radius so if the server is there and able to be connected to this should force you on it. -

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Okay thank you for clarifying, it's the service being out of date then, you'll have to use the workaround for now. I will let the team know. -

Netduma Fraser replied to ajack's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I thought you were experiencing that also after a reset in which case the recovery questions may needed to have been completed. All I can think of is that it rebooted but then didn't load the software correctly and loaded the default pre-software details. Next time reboot from the Settings page specifically and see if you get the same issue or from the physical button on the router. -
I've given you Early Access, please see if the firmware there helps to resolve your issue https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Are you completing the recovery questions as well prior to moving on to the next stage? Are you completing it over WiFi or ethernet and does it make a difference which one you use? -

If you could yes please and with the map fully zoomed out the entire time, also with it added as a console. Also showing the Geo settings in the menu -
You can connect it via USB to the router but you wouldn't be able to do anything with it, it doesn't have ReadyShare or that kind of feature
