  1. @Netduma FraserIs the update estimated to be early next year or is it releasing this month?
  2. Hmm interesting I'll test it myself tomorrow and see If I get the same thing Did you guys try clearing the cache/data on browser and selected the correct model?
  3. @TheMW2Ghost So what your setup like exactly? Yes it normal behavior if it not the primary router
  4. @TheMW2GhostAre you able to access the UI on the R2?
  5. @TheMW2GhostTo add duma isn't a live service it a router mate even if there cloud went down it wouldn't affect your network
  6. @TheMW2GhostDid you reboot the modem when connected to the R2 to refresh the IP that it sets on the R2?
  7. @YodaYeah it pretty much that I'd say probably be here around December 15-20th or so though I am still waiting for my potato provider to fix the box in the apartment building causing packet loss which is just irritating me since I am tired of losing fights to scrubs 😅
  8. @xBuTcHeRxShipments have started though it just tracking numbers currently as I got dhl email
  9. @gearsniper550Well buddy did it ever cross ur mind to do a reboot
  10. @Netduma FraserSo what are the exact changes to geo 2.0 that makes it work with most games now?
  11. @YodaI see thanks for the info I know I was one of the first since I waited till the site loaded at the exact time when the count down ended and pre order without hesitation though who knows there might of been mister bot who's faster. 😂
  12. @Netduma FraserSo are they shipping now or is this just a misleading title?
  13. @Matthew_DBest way to check whether it active is by using google on the console and searching your websites vpn and checking whether it active alternatively you can do a speed test and it'll be slower do to the limitations around 20mbs max uploads is less...
  14. @Netduma FraserWould be nice addition in a future update though I ain't smart phone guy especially when you'll need to access the advanced settings unless you were able to implement all settings on the app/mobile browser then it would make more sense to me personally? Though it is convenient for certain users using the QR code
  15. @Netduma FraserQuick question will the R3 have a network prompt like on the XR1000 when it booted for the first time on the browser etc? If not I think it would be convenient as to just load in into the UI like on the XR when doing the setup instead of typing 192.168.77.1 though not necessary it just for convenience and to know whether the device is connected
  16. @Netduma FraserWell see when all the details are fully unveiled and I get to testing and checking out the differences for myself as of currently my opinion stays the same
  17. @DerlandesYour not going to be missing too much id say the most unique new feature is the anti-jitter though it hasn’t been fully detailed as to what it actually does specifically. As long as the DPI is updated it should be all good on my opinion I use all operating systems and it just how you tweak them and whether the packets are detected properly etc
  18. @CathPacket loss is typically related to ISP or equipment being faulty it not something that should be appearing on the network unless the network is being throttled at a certain time though you can mitigate this from happening by using prioritization rules if you know it other users in the household causing all packets to be taken away. Though Smart QOS pretty much alleviates that by just being automatic and leaving bandwidth to each device as that didn't use to be the case before it was more complicated and now it more convenient for users.
  19. @LinusMediaGroup Omgosh guys the update is so broken because the device shows up as offline am also a linustechtips representative with no networking knowledge
  20. @LinusMediaGroupNaming your account LinusMediaGroup doesn't have any legitimacy and the update isn't broken I think your brain might be though 😂
  21. @XR700 OwnerI would do it manually instead of selecting playlist as well look at the geofilter will booting into the game etc
  22. @XR700 OwnerI would just increase the radius and see if that solves it pretty similar to apex legends were you’ll time out constantly but it’ll connect to the server when it finds one that matches the area or ping some games are exception like Fortnite the geo doesn’t work unless you have the area selected
  23. @XR700 OwnerSo if I am understanding you correct your saying that geo filter is off by default? Well all you do is enable it common sense and of course it will kick you off servers if there not around the designated area. I did find the ping heatmap to be inaccurate when it came to the console version for PUBG I don’t know about PC so it might be different but same concept.
  24. @Bussiness GooseI would leave bandwidth allocation alone and use congestion control and set it to always on and do the following steps to reduce buffer bloat use a tool called ping plotter or you can do this using command prompts constantly pinging and test whether your ping spikes by downloading or watching a 4k video though it a lot easier just to do a speed test while monitoring it as it floods the network and if you see it spike keep reducing the congestion control till you find the the ideal spot were there no large ping spikes. I would also do a hard reset as it seems like the Ping Heatmap + Connection benchmark bugged out in your case you can also just do a reboot and see if that solves it to add I would prioritize the device your categorizing it as game console if your on PC soon there should be a DPI update which will detect prioritization a lot more efficiently however it still hasn't been pushed hopefully next week as the XR1000 DPI has been outdated for a while and I have tested all the DPI on the R2 and there definitely way more accurate do to my testing and others.
