  1. @DUMALOVERDude use some common sense and if that was possible I am sure they would get sued so financially it would be a dumb idea you also sound like a bot since PC has the upper advantage in gaming my friend. Consoles are locked to 60fps in most cases and have higher input/latency compared that to a PC and it night and day difference also let me not get into how precise you can be with a mouse but also use a controller on PC if you dislike it. So if you think controller players don't exist on PC your mistaken thy friend I would personally disable cross play do to the unfair advantage you guys have on PC have but there is no such option and if it is you'll never queue into a match do to it being enabled automatically and most users don't even bother changing it. So it just an accepted norm nowadays to be all stuck together even though we dislike each other ironically the real reason cross play exist is because of PC lobbies being dead so you should be thankful that they enabled it for you guys from the beginning do to all the crying 😂
  2. @SuicideReaper420All you need are the basics the latest DPI and the HVPN+Geofilter which are the core functions of dumaos you won't necessarily need to upgrade and it has wifi 6e which the R3 doesn't have and the extra ram so if your a heavy user household then the extra ram does save you the hassle of being constrained.
  3. @Netduma FraserQuick question can disable the RGB Lights? I am just not a fan of RGB
  4. Well at least we got the confirmed final state for the XR models 3.3 and after that you can focus your resources on the R3 and innovate further even though it is sad to see there has to be an ending to the long lasting frustrations with netgears partnership that clearly didn't work out
  5. Just purchased hopefully it good
  6. @Netduma FraserLooking at the R3 FFC it has been in development so there is a chance 😂
  7. @AnarchyAliIt says nothing about the XR1000 beta being available in the comment so it is a general comment though it is a bit insinuative in the way that it might make you think it is just when he says ask for early access so forth. It just that when there is one you can join the list though there is no forum dedicated for beta access on the XR models that you need invite for there more public from what am aware of at the moment. I am also not affiliated with netduma
  8. @AnarchyAliThat was a general comment though it is vague as there is no beta for the XR1000 there only early access if your on the other XR models as of currently.
  9. @Davidt828There currently no beta though they say it going to be released soon.......
  10. @AnarchyAliThe latest firmware is this one for the XR1000 V1 as of currently https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68
  11. @Jeofel08Would be shocking if it the R3 but I think it just them restocking the units that sold out for them to sell on Black Friday
  12. Your most likely using geofilter and it blocking the servers that it has available
  13. @Cemo99You can’t necessarily force yourself to servers that are outside of your region unless you use hybrid vpn which isn’t available on the XR1000 currently an alternative would be using a vpn to play in another region. To clarify sometimes you can join far away servers though you’ll be waiting for a while to join and it isn’t worth waiting when it not guaranteed to join the server. That if your not using a vpn but if you are then it shouldn’t take long.
  14. @johnnytranIf that the case then he needs to be more specific and from looking at what caddy does it the same thing port forward a port that's detected not much of a difference the only difference is you have to set it manually though that sounds tedious though it something you can also do on the newer models depending on the console/device your using it maybe detected properly. However that won't be a thing for much longer do the new dpi engine being able to detect ports accurately based on data that given and it learns from which is more in depth and learning what the game actually uses. @FuzySpeaking facts hurts people feelings and were supposed to shield them from reality? If that the case then they'll never grow up just keep on living a fallacy and if that the case I give you the best wishes when crisis appears
  15. Application name: DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS Device type used for capture: MAC OS/PS5 Any other comments: New game for the DPI Engine BREAKERS #1.pcapng BREAKERS #2.pcapng BREAKERS #3.pcapng
  16. @sluggWho knows there something called google in which allows you to search the ports for the game and there's also the ability to just enable upnp and never have to do something so boring
  17. @Netduma Alex Application name: Fortnite Device type used for capture: MAC OS/PS5 Any other comments: Not detected properly it stops being detected mid game or earlier FX.pcapng FE.pcapng FX1.pcapng
  18. @SaviIf your using the R2 behind other routers/modems then you must enable the UPNP/manually port forward the ports on the router/modem that passing the connection to the the R2 the R2 is not in the front of the connection then that a step you need to take as for the vpn if your on pc you can get higher speeds by just using the regular vpn application and that may result in lower ping though it negligible you can test it out yourself.
  19. @DylanDMBridge mode is a setting within a router that turns off the router's Wi-Fi broadcast, turning it into a bridge between the network and another Wi-Fi router. https://kb.netgear.com/000060405/How-do-I-set-up-my-NETGEAR-Nighthawk-AX8-router-in-bridge-mode-and-enable-AX-Wi-Fi https://kb.netgear.com/27191/How-do-I-set-my-NETGEAR-cable-modem-router-to-function-as-a-modem-only
  20. @DylanDMDo you have bridge enabled on the modem/router combo unit?
  21. @DylanDMSo if your running the XR1000 behind no modem/router combo connected to it are you able to access the interference and get the OS running?
  22. That the stock firmware if you have the XR1000V2 and only version available
  23. @Netduma Fraser Yes it seems to affect certain devices having a dot/period the same way I originally showed of the bug being on the R2 on the device manager this maybe an issue on both OS This is something that may need to be looked upon further since having a dot shouldn't affect a network in anyway I did try replicating it with other letters and symbols and so forth and it doesn't seem to reoccur which is strange since using L 2.0 works but if use M 2.0 it has those issues strangely enough I am starting to think this maybe related to a software bug on the consoles were they have issues obtaining certain info based on the name of the SSID I'll check some time later in my other TP link router that on closet left to rot and see if it something actually related to the netduma OS
  24. @Netduma FraserOh yeah for the reserved IP it does delete it I just didn't see the edit/delete option was focused on the failed option
  25. @Netduma FraserHere an example of what occurring and as you can reconnecting somehow loses connection even though it clearly connected to it lv_0_20231112103438.mp4
