Help! Packetloss from XR1000
DARKNESS replied to DDC's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@DDCTo note that is pretty bad packet loss since it is consistent something I have had prior on my line so it definitely something that going to affect your day to day activities especially anything to do with VOIP like games... Using ping plotter you can tell if your equipment is at fault if you lose packets on the first hop something to note as many ISP love to claim that it your equipment fault and waste your time when they don't know how to check -
Help! Packetloss from XR1000
DARKNESS replied to DDC's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@DDCYou have to test this yourself but if they found out that there were issues then that something your going to have to keep on contact for them to fix -
So to access the UI you just enter 192.168.77.1 it not going to show a prompt like on the XR series...the reset button is the small button in the case that says reset that really about it

Just use polygon mode around the low ping server area doesn’t matter we’re your at it we’re the servers are located that matters and if you use geo on the wrong area well that answers why your being timeout of the server

DARKNESS replied to DUMALOVER's topic in Netduma R2 Support
@DUMALOVEROh running away I see classic PC player next time don't make statements without backing them up don't worry I won't send the Ghost of Tsushima warriors to hunt you down....to clarify I don't hate PC I just hate the fact that there are cheaters and that wasn't a thing not only that then you have clueless people like yourself always whining about aim assist without knowing how it works. -

DARKNESS replied to DUMALOVER's topic in Netduma R2 Support
@DUMALOVERYour an aim assist cry baby if there wasn't aim assist on console it would be unfair analogs don't have the proper precision as a mouse does why else do you think it was invented for console users in the first place in addition aim assist existed on console way before cross play was even invented. Your probably one of those PC players that think aim assist is aim bot when in reality it isn't try it out for yourself and you'll see that not the case. There are plenty of scrubs like you on PC and Console however have any top PC player go against another top console player and about 70-80% of the time they would dog on the top console player do to hardware/lower latency and better precision. There are more top pc players than console players on leader boards for cross play games why do you think that the case buddy? Also most of these fake console players that you see on YouTube are just using a controller on PC that not a console player just getting the facts straight and therefore makes you looks stupid as hell when your own community uses controllers as well and your basically backstabbing them as well 😂 There is however a slight difference on aim assist on console compared to PC when using a controller I believe was about 5% though it really negligible difference though it makes sense since you have lower input delay but it makes no difference that why you don't see PC players crying about there 5% difference of aim assist 😂 Even other PC players have more common sense than Mr. Peanut Head out here and yes in some games aim assist has been broken before however most of the time there fixed in a short amount of time. The footage below is an explanation for Mr. Peanut Head to understand the fundamental differences about Controller vs Keyboard -
R3 + Geo-Filter 2.0 [ON] + Crossplay [OFF] = GOD MODE (PC)
DARKNESS replied to DUMALOVER's topic in Netduma R2 Support
@DUMALOVERDude use some common sense and if that was possible I am sure they would get sued so financially it would be a dumb idea you also sound like a bot since PC has the upper advantage in gaming my friend. Consoles are locked to 60fps in most cases and have higher input/latency compared that to a PC and it night and day difference also let me not get into how precise you can be with a mouse but also use a controller on PC if you dislike it. So if you think controller players don't exist on PC your mistaken thy friend I would personally disable cross play do to the unfair advantage you guys have on PC have but there is no such option and if it is you'll never queue into a match do to it being enabled automatically and most users don't even bother changing it. So it just an accepted norm nowadays to be all stuck together even though we dislike each other ironically the real reason cross play exist is because of PC lobbies being dead so you should be thankful that they enabled it for you guys from the beginning do to all the crying 😂 -
ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
DARKNESS replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
@SuicideReaper420All you need are the basics the latest DPI and the HVPN+Geofilter which are the core functions of dumaos you won't necessarily need to upgrade and it has wifi 6e which the R3 doesn't have and the extra ram so if your a heavy user household then the extra ram does save you the hassle of being constrained. -

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
DARKNESS replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
Well at least we got the confirmed final state for the XR models 3.3 and after that you can focus your resources on the R3 and innovate further even though it is sad to see there has to be an ending to the long lasting frustrations with netgears partnership that clearly didn't work out -
Just purchased hopefully it good
-
@Netduma FraserLooking at the R3 FFC it has been in development so there is a chance 😂

XR1000 firware and duma os 3.3
DARKNESS replied to AnarchyAli's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@AnarchyAliIt says nothing about the XR1000 beta being available in the comment so it is a general comment though it is a bit insinuative in the way that it might make you think it is just when he says ask for early access so forth. It just that when there is one you can join the list though there is no forum dedicated for beta access on the XR models that you need invite for there more public from what am aware of at the moment. I am also not affiliated with netduma -

DARKNESS replied to AnarchyAli's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@AnarchyAliThat was a general comment though it is vague as there is no beta for the XR1000 there only early access if your on the other XR models as of currently. -

@AnarchyAliThe latest firmware is this one for the XR1000 V1 as of currently https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68 -
@Jeofel08Would be shocking if it the R3 but I think it just them restocking the units that sold out for them to sell on Black Friday
-
@Cemo99You can’t necessarily force yourself to servers that are outside of your region unless you use hybrid vpn which isn’t available on the XR1000 currently an alternative would be using a vpn to play in another region. To clarify sometimes you can join far away servers though you’ll be waiting for a while to join and it isn’t worth waiting when it not guaranteed to join the server. That if your not using a vpn but if you are then it shouldn’t take long.

@johnnytranIf that the case then he needs to be more specific and from looking at what caddy does it the same thing port forward a port that's detected not much of a difference the only difference is you have to set it manually though that sounds tedious though it something you can also do on the newer models depending on the console/device your using it maybe detected properly. However that won't be a thing for much longer do the new dpi engine being able to detect ports accurately based on data that given and it learns from which is more in depth and learning what the game actually uses. @FuzySpeaking facts hurts people feelings and were supposed to shield them from reality? If that the case then they'll never grow up just keep on living a fallacy and if that the case I give you the best wishes when crisis appears
-
@sluggWho knows there something called google in which allows you to search the ports for the game and there's also the ability to just enable upnp and never have to do something so boring
