Sorry to hear this, if you're able to in future it may be worth TFTPing the current firmware to the router, this is about as close as you can get to a re-flash so it may resolve issues you're having. I'll leave the article for this below. https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-a-TFTP-client-on-Microsoft-Windows

Sorry to hear that, we fixed an issue which was causing disconnections for most people in the latest firmware.

Do you have access to the DumaOS interface when it's in this state? Do all devices lose connection or is it just wireless devices that are losing connectivity?

Keeping My Netgear X1000
Netduma Liam replied to Harley's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It'd require an additional port on the back of the router I'd assume, but other than that OpenWRT probably accommodates for it so I'll discuss the idea with the team. -

That is bizarre, I suppose it's not in their best interest to suggest you use something other than their router and their service. In the same way, it's in my best interest to suggest that we find a way to involve the XR1000 in your setup. -

No worries, always best to have the XR at the top anyways. -

Like this: Modem -> Zen Router -> VOIP phone system -> XR1000 -> Connected Devices -
Keeping My Netgear X1000

Sure, but presumably you can just leave the phone connected to the router they provide you, then have all other devices on the network connected to the DumaOS router? Or am I misunderstanding something here? Presumably you had a modem connected above the R1/R2 right? I guess it depends on whether Zen provide a router/modem combo or two separate devices. -

Who's offering the service? It'd be interesting to look into it a little further. -
¿Cómo tienes configurado QoS? ¿A qué velocidad de red está configurada? ¿Cuáles son las velocidades que caen desde y hacia?

Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Netduma Liam replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Yeah it's been added to our roadmap so it's definitely something we'll be considering. An equally good point, it's always best to start fresh. -

OK sure, thanks for letting me know. If this happens again, please do let us know. -

Where are you measuring these speeds? Is this from Connection Benchmark? If so please test a third-party speedtest as I believe that's a Connection Benchmark bug. -

That's bizarre. What time approximately did you experience this issue? Are you playing on Wi-Fi? If so could you make sure the channels are set to 'Automatic' then let me know if that resolve the issue? -

That's just showing that your PlayStation is currently offline, that isn't the reason you're having issues. Are these the speeds you expect to get from your ISP? If so please update these in DumaOS by going to the three-dot menu in the top right -> Advanced -> Bandwidth speeds. That's going to make QoS work a lot better. -
That looks pretty good, did you try adjusting the percentages in Congestion Control 5% at a time? Are these the best results you landed at or is this the result of your first PingPlotter test?

Netduma Liam replied to NetDumaNewb's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Good advice from Newfie, please complete the steps he mentioned above! You can see if the upgrade was successful by checking the firmware version in the top right of the interface, it should now read 3.0.394. -

It won't turn off during a reset. Are you now able to connect to the R2 Wi-Fi network and complete the setup wizard? -

OK, could you please do the following: Unplug the WAN cable from the R2 (the blue port) Hold the reset pin on the back of the R2 for thirty seconds Wait 5-10 minutes If it hasn't already, connect your laptop to the R2 via either wired or Wi-Fi Got 192.168.77.1 from an incognito window in Chrome and complete the setup wizard again, make sure the WAN cable remains unplugged. That should allow you to get to the interface normally, after that connect the WAN cable and reboot the R2. -

OK great, so we know the cabling is correct. What also won't be helping here is that DumaOS isn't yet optimised for Safari, which I believe you are using. Could you please instead open a Chrome browser and go to 192.168.77.1 in the browser. Complete the setup wizard from here, skipping the WAN setup as I mentioned previously. -

Welcome to the forum! The first thing to do is to complete the setup. On the screen you show in your first screenshot, please click 'WAN Setup' then 'Skip' and you can complete the setup wizard. Once completed and you're in the interface, give the R2 a quick reboot, that may resolve the issue. If that doesn't resolve the issue, can you confirm that the R2 is connected to one of the LAN ports on the back of the ISP router? It may be easier to provide a picture to confirm this, though I would think that your ISP would've also confirmed this was correct when you spoke to them.
