  2. As far as I'm aware we're not working on this one now. With the new Mobile App, it just makes it much easier to access more of these settings instead.
  3. We still don't seem to be able to access it. From a device connected directly to the R2, can you google 'What is my IP' and DM that IP over to me?
  4. If you're on Windows, the command prompt is case sensitive so you'll need to use 'Desktop'. Alternatively just type cd Des then hit TAB and it will auto-fill for you.
  5. There isn't a new firmware at the moment so the first part of that error is expected. Do you actually have an internet connection through the XR or is that message accurate? Can you progress through the rest of the setup wizard until you get to the DumaOS dashboard, then reboot the XR and see if you have connectivity after that?

  8. HybridVPN should work just fine in conjunction with Geo-filter. What firmware version are you currently running on your R2? While connected via the VPN, have you confirmed that it's showing your IP location as being in Chile?

  10. Interesting, did you check with IPv6 enabled and disabled? If not, can you disable IPv6 again and re-test?
  11. Thanks, and are you posting here from a device that's connected to the R2 or to the modem? On that topic, what's the make and model of your ISP modem? Is it a router/modem combo (with Wi-Fi), or is it a pure modem? The reason I ask is I'm having trouble connecting to your R2, it may be that I have the wrong IP for you as I'm just using what I can see here on the forum, or it may be that your modem is dropping my requests. If it is, are you able to put the R2 in the DMZ of your router/modem?
  12. Could you try disconnecting the R2 from power for ten minutes, then reconnect it again and see if it's able to boot properly. Try accessing the DumaOS interface by going to 192.168.77.1 in the web browser of a device connected directly to the R2.

  14. Please disregard my comment in the other topic, that firmware is not actually available. When was the last time you factory reset your XR1000? Did you reset it specifically after upgrading to the latest firmware?
  15. Please ignore my earlier comment, that firmware was pushed by NETGEAR by mistake and is not actually available for download. Based on the comment from @TheJam, it would be useful to know if this is something you are experiencing too. If you could let us know your findings there that may be helpful.
  16. It's not a setting you can adjust yourself, but you should notice an improvement based on the issues you were having!
  17. OK awesome, thanks for all the detail on that. HybridVPN has undergone a lot of fixes in our latest Early Access firmware so let me go ahead and get you added into that group and you can download and try the latest. Let us know your thoughts on it in that sub-forum!
  18. It's just very different hardware from a different manufacturer, that's where the added complications come from.
  19. Possibly, could you please share the OpenVPN config file you're using so we can take a look?
  20. We basically had to whitelist a bunch of Xbox servers because they were getting blocked and causing problems. The way you use it should remain the same, it should just function better!
  21. That may be the reason, can you try rebooting the router and check if it shows Geo-filter running? Are you able to load Geo-filter then, at least temporarily?
  22. Welcome to the forum! Are you able to get to this link: http://192.168.77.1/desktop/index.html#com.netdumasoftware.settings Then enable remote access to tech support and hit Save Settings? If you are, let me know and I may be able to access your R2 and get it out of the state that it's in.
  23. The V2 is essentially the same just with slightly different, but very comparable, hardware. It was due to a hardware shortage so NETGEAR had to adapt and esenntially come out with an updated version. The spam bots are annoying, I thought it was due to the forum being due an update but that doesn't appear to have helped. We're looking into it and we'll deal with them!
