  1. You can limit it in Bandwidth Allocation's Device mode, just make sure Share Excess is disabled from the sub-menu. What's the reason for wanting to do this exactly? Have you seen or read somewhere that this would help?
  2. Ah yes that may be it, can you temporarily put the R2 in the DMZ of that other router?
  3. Let us know how you get on. We may need to optimise QoS a little further for you.
  4. That's the LAN IP of the R2 so unfortunately that won't help me here. What's the make and model of your ISP modem? Is it a pure modem (No Wi-Fi capability), or is it a router/modem combo that you can connect devices to with Wi-Fi?
  5. I still don't seem to be able to access it, does this match the IP that you see in System Information -> Network Status? Did you definitely hit 'Save settings' after enabling remote access?
  6. You don't need to DMZ the PS5 as well, just the XR500 in the ISP DMZ. After that, see if you have Open NAT. If you don't, temporarily disable Geo-filter's filtering mode and see if that was causing the mis-reading of NAT.
  7. Out of interest, where was your VPN set to? That could account for the increased Ping.
  8. I've replied to the topic you created.
  9. We still don't seem to be able to access it. From a device connected directly to the R2, can you google 'What is my IP' and DM that IP over to me?
  10. Thanks, and are you posting here from a device that's connected to the R2 or to the modem? On that topic, what's the make and model of your ISP modem? Is it a router/modem combo (with Wi-Fi), or is it a pure modem? The reason I ask is I'm having trouble connecting to your R2, it may be that I have the wrong IP for you as I'm just using what I can see here on the forum, or it may be that your modem is dropping my requests. If it is, are you able to put the R2 in the DMZ of your router/modem?
  11. It's just very different hardware from a different manufacturer, that's where the added complications come from.
  12. Welcome to the forum! Are you able to get to this link: http://192.168.77.1/desktop/index.html#com.netdumasoftware.settings Then enable remote access to tech support and hit Save Settings? If you are, let me know and I may be able to access your R2 and get it out of the state that it's in.
  13. I'll add your name to the list and the team will review the list shortly and add some users. You'll see a new beta sub-forum on your forum home page if you've been added.
  14. I can understand your frustrations here. The XR1000 doesn't yet have Hybrid VPN primarily because of the hardware, it's very complicated to get a feature like HybridVPN working on this hardware. I believe we are still working on getting it supported in future, but unfortunately I don't have an ETA as to when this might be. Hybrid VPN is also still being developed, so it will be improving over time for the XR500 as well.
  15. What's the problem exactly? Are you requesting to be added to the tester's cloud? If so can you DM me the MAC address you see in Network Settings -> WAN -> Network.
  16. That's odd, do you still have the same issue if you use Radius mode instead of Polygon mode? You can just set the radius to be over central US as a test.
  17. OK thanks for letting us know, we'll look into it.
  18. Apologies, we don't have an update on this just yet. I've chased it up with the developers who'll be looking into it as soon as they can.
  19. If it's busy during peak times, you may struggle to get connected to the server. We haven't changed locations in Geo-filter for this game in a little while so it won't have changed recently. On Ping Heatmap, we only tend to keep the last two CoDs listed there given that this is where the majority of the player base is.
  20. Yes, that's on there. I'll get your name added too.
  21. In theory it shouldn't matter, but I'd suggest starting with the first option and experiment with the second if you experience any issues.
  22. Hey everyone, We’ve got a new version of the app for you, we’ve fixed a number of bugs, mainly with backwards compatibility. Checking backwards compatibility is a long and arduous process so please let us know if we’ve missed any bugs on older firmwares or older units. Please download the app from your app store and give it a go! Here’s the release notes for you, as you can see there is a load of bug fixes: Features Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap now utilise a reworked map, reducing bugs and improving load times as well as smoothness/usability. Overlapping polygons in Geo-Filter can now be seperately selected by cycling through them. Ping Optimiser can now set bandwidth speeds both before and during the test. Device Manager now has a refresh button. Multiple improvements to the Setup process. Browser/IP now informs and improves user location setting for Geo-Filter. Compatibility DumaOS app now fully supports routers using earlier versions of DumaOS. Bug Fixes Dashboard now shows seperate graphs for multiple devices simultaneously. More consistent and reliable setup process in the rare event of timeouts. Minor fixes to text appearing in Geo-Filter feature and Geo-Filter setup. Buttons within Geo-Filter have been fixed to always appear where they should. Fixed incorrect Step Count when setting up Nighthawk routers. Telemetry data now applies a version check to ensure accuracy. 'Platform not supported' message now appears in the app more reliably. Adblocker Lists will no longer open the edit page occasionally when their toggle is tapped. Fixed issue on Android where texture sizes were multiplied by pixel ratio multiple times, causing a render failure Numerous other minor bug fixes. Accessibility Wide array of improvements made to overall app accessibility.
  23. Sure thing! I'll add your name to the list. If accepted you'll see a new sub-forum on your forum home page.
