  1. What percentages did you find to be the best? Is this the best result you managed to get after trying different percentages?
  2. OK, if you reduce your sliders in Congestion Control to around 70% each can you run another Ping Plotter and check the results? Since you've updated, could you please factory reset the XR1000. That should get rid of any low-level code left over from the previous firmware that could cause issues/conflicts.
  3. Other than that the tests seem pretty good! Can you let us know how exactly you were running these tests? I.e. were you congesting the line while running the test, if so how? Any other info just so we can double check would be helpful.
  4. Welcome to the forum! They've switched to a more server-based matchmaking system so you can load into solo games anymore. You can however still use Geo-filter to ensure you're connecting to the closest server to you for the lowest ping.
  5. Welcome to the forum! It's on our roadmap to get NHL added so it shouldn't be a problem. Are you playing on console or on PC? We can get it working for you in the meantime?
  6. Hey all, If you haven't noticed, there's a new update for the XR1000, with Adblocker! You can view the changelog and download it here (If you've got auto-update disabled): https://kb.netgear.com/000064837/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-64 You may notice that Adblocker doesn't have any default lists configured yet. To make it easy for you all we've uploaded the default list to a URL so you can all quickly add it to your Adblocker via the URL. To find out how, check the below KB article: https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/adblocker-xr1000/ If you've got any questions or issues, please create a new topic in this sub-forum and we can assist.
  7. It's available on the latest firmware, please update to that and you'll be able to do this.
  8. What's the make and model of the modem? Is it a pure modem or does it have Wi-Fi capability too? You could go to the interface of the modem and see if you can find any settings for PPPoE configuration?
  9. OK, that appears to be a pure modem so that's fine. How many prioritised packets are you seeing approximately, can you send over a screenshot?
  10. Can you disable all rules in Traffic Prioritisation, then test again on the Xbox? It may be that the Xbox traffic is still being prioritised and therefore superseding the limit set by Congestion Control.
  11. First things first, could you please confirm if you've factory reset the XR since installing the latest update? If not I'd suggest doing so. Could you also confirm if your connection requires PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers in order for you to get access to the internet? Are both upload and download not affected in the speedtest? Is Congestion Control set to always when you're running the tests?
  12. If you just disable filtering mode instead of removing the device from Geo-filter, you'll be able to see what server you're playing on without it affecting your game. Try that then you know you can set your filter to that server to guarantee good gameplay consistently.
  13. It would be worth opening a new topic, describing your issue in as much detail as possible so we can troubleshoot this with you. I'd also suggest ensuring you're updated to the latest firmware and have factory reset since installing it.
  14. How do you have Geo-filter configured? Are you using a VPN at all? What game mode are you playing specifically, can you connect to this server in any other game modes?
  15. It's just not intended functionality to VPN specific ports from a console in Hybrid VPN, so we don't know how well it'll work. It will be easier to VPN the whole device as Fraser mentions.
  16. Right OK, we'll have to do some more testing internally. The only difference I can think of is that we were playing on PC and you're on console, so we'll hook up an xbox and try again. I'll update you here with our findings.
  17. When you search for a game with filtering mode enabled and it fails, are you seeing any 'blocked' icons on the map? If so, can you reproduce and send a screenshot?
  18. Are you located in the US? If possible please provide screenshots of your current Geo-filter setup and what you're seeing when you search for a match, that will make things a lot clearer.
  19. Can you provide a screenshot of how you've got Geo-filter setup currently? If you leave it with filtering mode disabled, are you still able to see server icons on the map?
  20. They implemented some measures to stop people forcing servers by changing some file, but that's not really what Geo-filter does so you should still be fine. Give it a go and let us know how you get on, we've been playing a little in the office recently and it seemed fine.
  21. What are you playing on, console or PC? The important things are that you've got it added to Geo-filter and are prioritising the Halo traffic in QoS. You can follow the same optimal settings guides to see how to do that. http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000077073-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-qos
  22. Are you seeing any E-transfer domains showing as blocked in adblocker? If so, please take this domain and add a whitelist rule for it, that should resolve the problem. Please then also provide the domain to us so we can add it to the whitelist for our next cloud update.
  23. Maybe set Ping Assist back to zero and try again, that could be causing the issue.
  24. Check out this guide and follow the advanced section to see how to do this correctly: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000087492--dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-hybrid-vpn Let us know if you have any other questions.
  25. Are you filtering servers in your area? Is filtering mode enabled? As Fraser mentioned, a screenshot might be easier. We don't know exactly when the new firmware will be released, we're working with our beta testers currently to iron out a few issues. After that it should be good to go!
