  1. I'd generally recommend using the Geo-Filter yes but I just want you to disable it for the moment to see if the issue still occurs.
  2. The RGB we've seen happen on other routers so that's not a hardware issue - a replacement would not fix it, the time going backwards is log spam but is harmless, we'll be sorting that. Are you on the Early Access version currently? Are you running the speed test/ping optimizer tests and then concerned that you're getting disconnects/dropouts? As those tests by design disconnect all devices so it's a pure test from the router to the internet. You don't need to be running these tests often. Do a speedtest.net test to figure out your full/expected speeds, enter those into the router then you don't need to run the speedtest. Ping Optimizer changes the Congestion Control percentages which you can do manually, find the best percentages for you and then you don't need to touch this again either. Other than that the only other indicators for potential disconnects etc can be resolved: In Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save. Do that each device you're noticing the disconnects/issues with. Then in DHCP > Advanced change the lease time to 10000, save, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please.
  3. Disable Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings if you haven't already and try again. I've also given you access to the Early Access firmware: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  4. Does it occur if the Geo-Filter is disabled before launching the game?
  5. That all looks fine/blocking outside and allowing inside as you'd expect. Are you the party leader or are they? If they are then you'll need to disable the Geo-Filter or be the party leader to use it enabled
  6. Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page when it happens please?
  7. Yes you can downgrade in the same way that you upgrade, download the previous firmware version and upgrade to it
  8. So there will still be some more authentication servers you need to allow then, keep allowing them, doing that process and you'll get them all. We don't do that kind of support btw
  9. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client
  10. Zoom in fully on that location, there is likely a few that may be overlapping each other. Also restart the game fully to catch any others
  11. Fair enough, thanks for the update! The team will need to look into it when they get a chance, they're focused on the big features for the next update currently
  12. As above you'll need to allow that server as it's an authentication server, you can't play without it. There may be a few servers there you'll need to allow. If you could get the IDs we can add them to our whitelist.
  13. Does it work without the Geo-Filter enabled?
  14. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  15. With your gaming device connected to the ethernet cable that normally gives the R3 internet do you experience the same issue?
  16. What web browser/device are you using? Have you updated it to the latest public version .540?
  17. That explains it, satellite internet is going to be subject to interference, degradation and fluctuations that fibre for example wouldn't be. This wouldn't usually be noticeable through web browsing for example but for gaming where you rely on latency first and foremost, you're going to notice it. I'm sure if you try what I mentioned previously you'll experience the same issues. Also their characteristics for fine are likely different to your version of fine for gaming.
  18. That's really impossible for me to say as I cannot determine the cause. Play during non peak and peak times, do you notice a difference? Play with devices using the internet as they normally would and without them using it, do you notice a difference? If you don't experience any better performance during non peak hours with no other devices being used then the R3 is unlikely to help you.
  19. Yes that's normal
  20. No, we keep the current game and last game on there so when 7 came out we would have removed MW3. The servers are essentially all the same anyway.
  21. But with your gaming device connected to the ethernet cable that normally gives the R3 internet do you experience the same issue?
  22. From the screenshot you have the speed for download set at 2Mbps. Also your unloaded ping is very high there, even on the other your unloaded was around 20 so it will only ever be able to be at 20ms minimum on loaded/active
  23. If the modem doesn't even connect they definitely should send a tech or a replacement modem for you. They can usually conduct a remote test to the modem also. You can definitely do that and see how you get on - do you get the same issues directly connected to the wall/ONT with the gaming device?
  24. If you don't know that's fine, you can ignore it as you won't be using it. What were they connected to before that? With speed test bypass disabled is it providing different results?
  25. Disable Speed Test bypass and try it again. Does the R3 handle PPPoE/VLAN if needed? By PS5 is connected to the R3 only, do you mean there are no other devices connected to the R3 ever or just currently, where would they connect to if applicable?
