  1. Pretty sure that went out already, so should be working now
  2. It works absolutely fine without creating an encrypted tunnel between you and a server. That's absolutely fine, email [email protected] and we'll provide the instructions to do so
  3. When you've finished a match makes more sense if the server switches to one outside your radius, it will always do that if that happens, best to always re-search when using the Geo-Filter. If you use the radius instead of the polygon (so you'll have to include at least one more server to cover them) does it still occur?
  4. I take it by that it made no difference whatsoever? If so I think it will be due to using the VPN then, you don't need the VPN to force locations, the Geo-Filter is enough
  5. Okay just to clarify after re-reading a bit: You don't have an issue connecting to a server with your normal radius when searching matchmaking is that right? It only seems to occur when you've finished one match and let it automatically try and put you into another match, is that right?
  6. What I mean is this could be the server you're connecting to when in a game because you've allowed it and so it will always be able to be connected to regardless of your settings. It is usually an authentication server in that area but it's possible you've allowed a mislocated server that is actually the game server. Could you provide the ID of the server you've allowed so I can check it please?
  7. No it doesn't matter which protocol you use. It is seeing a server you have manually allowed, is that the server it's trying to connect you to in game?
  8. That would be what the logs seem to indicate, it does initiate a connection and receive a response and then fails at the authentication, let us know if the new credentials work
  9. It looks like it is trying to ping so it can see a server, zoom out all the way, do you see a server then?
  10. Make a new topic and provide your config file and we can take a look
  11. As you're creating an encrypted tunnel between you and the VPN server the Geo-Filter can have trouble filtering. However, sitting in the menu isn't you actually playing so search for a game and you may see servers appear
  12. I think you'd need to go back to your VPN provider and get their assistance, you're using the VPN in a way we wouldn't recommend especially when there is a VPN client on the router itself
  13. One isn't better than the other for gaming, it's just how your router connects to the internet really
  14. NAT matters more when trying to connect to other people, to connect to servers it does matter less. Do you have an Open NAT without the VPN? Not specifically no and the game is trying to prevent people using VPNs so I expect it will get harder. There is no control when using this DNS method, it could be it's timing out, which if it is there isn't anything you can do.
  15. You may be able to use Traffic Controller to achieve that
  16. Are you using the Geo-Filter at the same time? Going the DNS route it is applying to every single device in your home, if they are being used a lot it is possible you're overwhelming that connection. It would be a lot better to use HVPN and apply it just to your console
  17. We put out a new update in Early Access a few days ago, alternatively you can download that old version from support.netduma.com and upload it to the router to downgrade
  18. Being able to see a screenshot or video of what you see on the Geo-Filter when it happens will make it much easier for us to see what is happening and help guide you in the right direction
  19. A couple of people isn't everyone or indicative of a wider issue either, if you're still having issues lets continue in your topic
  20. If you do what I mentioned there will be no double NAT. Also the internet will work about the same, there is no real performance benefit of PPPoE over DHCP or negative having another router handle PPPoE in addition to another router. The difference is minimal, perhaps 1ms which would make no difference to gameplay or internet quality.
  21. Try the steps I mentioned to see if the VPN actually applies or not
  22. Leave the R3 in DHCP, put the R3 WAN IP in the TIM DMZ, then you could restart the R3 and get internet
