  1. At 94% it's not going to be very effective. Try 70% for both and experiment from there. Do this for Geo-Filter: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It'll work better then
  2. Try it in the other ports just in case it's a port issue. It should be fine at that length but the longer it is the more prone to interference it becomes so it would be a good idea if you're not already to use a shielded ethernet cable just to mitigate any potential interference.
  3. Was there anything that changed in your settings or surroundings when it got slower? E.g. new devices/electronics added to the home, new neighbours etc? Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  4. Congestion Control is on Auto at what percentages precisely? How specifically has the Geo-Filter been set?
  5. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How is your PC connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  6. You can ignore the speed test on the router, if the router was limiting your speeds then you wouldn't be able to get higher upload on Ookla. Having QoS completely disabled however is likely responsible for the fluctuating bitrate issue you're experiencing. I know you don't have much upload to play with so try it on 90% for example and see if you notice any improvements - do also lower download to 70%.
  7. The specific model should be on a sticker on the underside of it and potentially details to access it also. Do you have any devices connected to the ISP modem/router? With Congestion Control set to 100% it's essentially disabled - you'll need to lower this to combat local congestion. How do you mean you've optimized your ping and set it to 10.2? What have you set to 10.2?
  8. I'd suggest making a new topic but the default credentials are admin / password
  9. If it's jumping that high then simple definitely won't be able to contain it, you would need to use expert and set it towards the top of your peaks. It sounds like you have some instability overall: What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  10. They're getting higher pings - Ping Assist will allow any servers below and in some cases slightly above that value. If you know you can get servers at a lower ping then it is better to force them specifically
  11. I don't think it's an issue on your side at all, you've done everything right, I think the servers are under load so the above is what I would advise
  12. Try forcing some servers slightly further away, even if they have a higher ping they may perform better if they're under less load
  13. Try playing in non peak times, do you get the same feelings?
  14. Glad to hear you got it sorted - you can also drag the map when zoomed to get it to the right place
  15. Sounds like you have everything setup quite well, what is the ping in game & on the Geo-Filter on average?
  16. How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  17. Thanks for the confirmation!
  18. Sorry didn't see your last message. As above optimizer isn't 100% reliable at the moment. After changing Congestion Control percentages where are you then checking your download/upload ping?
  19. They're all LAN ports, the WAN is actually the cable internet port above the power. So try one of the other 1Gbps LAN ports on your modem connected to only the WAN/Internet port on the R3 and then check wired to one of the R3 LAN ports to speedtest.net and see what you get please. Make sure you've also set the speeds manually on the R3 to what you expect/pay for first.
  20. Can you provide a full page screenshot of what it gets stuck on specifically?
  21. I would recommend Simple not expert as the ping doesn't vary that much. Experiment though and find what works best for you, there isn't one right answer.
  22. When you load discord check for a blocked icon on the map then add it to the allow list, you may need to do it a few times for it to work but then you can use it and have discord work
  23. You could do Gaming instead yes or device - selecting Call of Duty specifically will work until the service becomes out of date so doing the other two options means it will just prioritize regardless
  24. Added you both
  25. Put Ping Assist to 0-0 and it will be disabled. The game will allow any servers up to that ping, it won't necessarily prioritize the lower pings so disable that so you just use the radius to search for your closest and therefore lowest ping servers.
