What firmware version are you using currently? How do you have Congestion Control set?
-
We'll need some more information than that to be able to help, can you expand on that?

weird problem, need help ASAP

Access the router, go to the System Information page, scroll down and you'll see the logs. Click the icon top left of the log panel, download then upload here. It certainly is a weird one! -

You didn't have the issue before you made changes on the PC, only after, the issue only occurs when doing it on that PC, not any other PC or device and with no router settings changes during that time either (presumably) so that sounds like the PC not the router. Grab the logs when the issue happens and I can take a look -

Then it's more than likely a PC specific issue that is somehow causing an issue for the rest of the network. You can find them on the System Information page -

If you use a different PC and use the browser on that do you get the same issue? Can you grab the logs when the issue happens please? -
M1 MacBook Pro Internet Speed Slower than iPhone 13 Mini

All I got you to do was put your speeds in, unless there was anything else changed it would only improve the speeds. Okay that's just more details about the WiFi you're connected to. There is a WiFi analyzer on the Microsoft Store for Windows called WiFi Analyzer, that would be better for determining what channels are best in your area. Please provide a screenshot of the QoS page -
It's detecting your playing in two different ways and so will be prioritizing. The CoD service will be updated tomorrow though.

Okay that's good, I'd suggest making a new topic for your issue and we can go from there -

We usually suggest starting at 70% and experimenting from there. Networking has so many variables, even if you don't specifically change anything doesn't mean other things don't change that could impact you. -

Given it's only a problem when you use the browser have you tried other browsers? -

Provide a screenshot of the analyzer results and I can advise from there. New WiFi or devices in the area either yours or neighbours can make previously stable WiFi on a certain channel unstable. What is 5GHz getting right now in terms of speeds? 2.4GHz is a common WiFi frequency, even wireless headphones could impact it for example, it's best used for stability, not for speed -
It doesn't depend on your connection method - if you've connected the same device via WiFi instead then it's likely it is appearing on the Device Manager as a different device, you'd need to add that one instead to the Geo-Filter.

Sorry for the late response, by that do you mean you have another router that you're using at the same time? What is your exact physical setup? -

Although it's called a beta we actually released it publicly so we're fairly happy with it, you shouldn't encounter any major issues. All you did was enter the speeds you pay for/expect which is what you should do, it wouldn't have any bearing on your 2.4GHz speeds dropping. Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure the router is in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ -

That would indicate your Geo-Filter could be too large and covers too many servers. Try to just keep the closest/lowest ping servers within your radius. You'll need to fine tune your Congestion Control percentages to get better results on the above as well. -

What ping are you seeing on the Geo-Filter/in game when you have this incident?
