  1. The ping you see on Ping Optimiser is the ping you're receiving from the test server it's using, connecting to other servers, e.g. game servers won't necessarily mean you get a ping that low. Thanks for the screenshot of the server, so now this makes sense, that server is actually in Germany so it is mislocated on the map. We'll correct it. If you could: Copy/paste any server IDs you get when just covering the UK that get a higher ping like that Copy/paste any servers IDs you get when covering Europe that have a lower ping like you would expect being connected to a UK server Then we can correct them all to prevent it happening. In the meantime you can block any of the higher ping servers you see and allow any of the lower ping servers you see and it will start to improve.
  2. Have you made the changes they mentioned?
  3. Oh you're using the basic setup, those files are out of date, you will need to obtain the OpenVPN configuration files for the server you want to connect to from HMA and then enter the contents into HVPN to connect
  4. Please provide the config you're using and we can take a look
  5. It is something we raised to NG awhile ago and not something we can directly fix unfortunately. Once you've done the reserved IPs you won't need to do it again so it'll be a one and done scenario. If you're not using QoS then you can disable it fully in the Congestion Control menu.
  6. Cover Japan then and see if it prevents that happening please
  7. Just to clarify, what is the 6ms ping to exactly? What is the 'normal' ping you're getting to the London server without the Geo-Filter enabled? Are you confirming you are actually getting the London server in that scenario with the Geo-Filter just with filtering disabled? Have you enabled Game Mode/activated boost? Have you done the ping optimizer feature?
  8. What link on the website are you clicking exactly? To access the R3 you can use http://dumaos or http://192.168.77.1, alternatively you can download the DumaOS app from your phone app store and then access it that way. It won't be anything to do with you still being able to access your ISP router. We don't provide phone support but you'll still get just as good support here.
  9. In that case it could be that your public IP is changing frequently - did the ISP put the ONT in bridge? They may be able to take it out of it so you can then access and then the R3 would get a local IP that can be set as static on the ONT. Otherwise may be worth contacting them to see if they can extend the lease time for your public IP, especially considering you had the same issue on another router. If that can be made longer then the issue should happen less. They may try to sell you a static IP which would if this is the issue fix it but I'd suggest saying if you could extend the lease time so I can verify this is the issue then I would then consider the static IP knowing it would fix the issue permanently.
  10. I've given you access, we've also made a change to the cloud if you could reboot from the interface and see if it happens again please.
  11. We're aware Ping Optimizer/Speed test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and we're looking into it. In the meantime setting/testing speeds manually and adjusting Congestion Control manually will be needed to achieve the same effects. Your ping is raised where exactly? Where are you testing this ping? A higher ping wouldn't necessarily impact voip too much unless it's quite high. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST?
  12. Thank you that's really helpful, I've been able to reproduce it so I'll pass it onto the team
  13. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then try again please.
  14. I'll respond to your email shortly
  15. I can't view/download the video, what happens exactly?
  16. Are you enabling the Geo-Filter before you boot up the console/game? Are you making changes to the Geo-Filter while you're on the game? This could be them using the relay servers, in which case some mentioned covering Japan made it adhere better to their Geo-Filter settings
  17. Okay good - the server IP address you're using is Cambodia which may be the problem, find the IP of a server you want to connect to from the options they've given you (use a website to lookup the IP location) then use that instead and see if it works better
  18. Is Geo-Latency or Ping Assist enabled?
  19. Nothing bad there from what I can see - does it actually connect you to the VPN? Does it say connected?
  20. Not really - copy and paste would be easier next time - it's also in French which I can't read 😂Just to clarify, are you actually connected to the VPN? It's just the game you can't connect to?
  21. They don't have any impact on your NAT status but it does mean it's probably blocking a NAT server, zoom out fully on the map with those options disabled, check the NAT status and look for something blocked and allow it. Repeat this, you may need to do it a few times and then you should have all the servers for NAT allowed and it should work then. Once done if you could give us the IDs for these servers then we can add them to the global whitelist.
  22. You may have Geo-Latency and Ping Assist enabled, disable both of those and try again. Also ensure you've enabled the Geo-Filter prior to launching the game and don't change any Geo-Filter settings on the game without then rebooting the game otherwise they won't apply
  23. Ah yes the private address on iOS and other devices can pose a problem there, they will just ignore any reservations unless that is disabled. You would see a double NAT on your console if that was the case, unlikely but a possibility for sure.
  24. Okay thank you, I think it's a cloud issue which we're looking at currently and will make a change to shortly that should hopefully resolve it
