  1. That is entirely up to Netgear, we put out a new firmware build last week so hopefully won't be too long.
  2. The Geo-Filter shows the connections it has made at the time and once the connection is no longer active they will disappear from the Geo-Filter. Ping Heatmap can help you with what you want to achieve as it will show all the servers and you can then use this to inform your Geo-Filter settings and force the servers that have the best ping.

  4. It seems you were invited to the beta almost 2 weeks ago. Take a look on the forum for the beta section. They were unreproducible in the lab which is why we wanted to conduct a beta test - also why we are doing it incrementally rather than allowing everyone to use it at once.

  6. To answer your question yes it still will be protected by the firewall. You're not really making the most of the features available to you though with that setup.

  12. When they send you an invite it is an invite to the beta forum on the Netgear Community where you can download the firmware, did you login to the account you signed up with?

  21. Plug the R2 into the Hub, plug a PC into the R2 - go through the setup wizard. Then connect to the hub interface (you can do this while connected to the R2) then setup the DMZ option. Then switch all your devices over to the R2.
  22. @aboodi Beta isn't available for the XR700 at the moment but when it is invites will be sent out.
  23. Do a factory reset after upgrading to prevent any legacy issues carrying over from the previous firmware.
