Happy New Year! As others have stated this isn't something that is currently available, it has been requested before though so we will likely implement it at some point.

Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!

It was definitely in response to your email on 30th December. Send another one referencing that email with a link to the forum topic you made, then they can proceed with the replacement as that is what they've asked for in the email. -

Not everyone will have issues so I wouldn't always base it on what other people are seeing. -

Yes the 'Delete offline devices' option will be available on the beta, just go to the Device Manager menu and you can do it there. -
Happy New Year! Alex should be testing this today and someone provided some information which could point at the issue so we'll investigate that. That's really great to hear, hopefully we can get new stock sooner rather than later and Brexit doesn't affect it too much.

Yes it's backwards compatible so works with b/g/n etc. They responded to your email yesterday saying they would be happy to give you a replacement, they just asked you for the forum topic you made regarding your issue. If you don't see that email please look in your spam/junk folders. -

They can be quite loose, so screw it in as much as possible and it should stand. Email [email protected] and they may be able to provide an extra one. -
XR500 VS Netduma R2
Netduma Fraser replied to Alongcory's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hey, welcome to the forum! Some good points above. R2 is if you're mainly interested in the software - DumaOS is more optimized for it, it has all our developed features and we'll be able to get faster updates out. The XR500 has DumaOS 3.0 in beta at the moment so not as refined on that front at the moment and does not have Adblocker. The XR500 does have better hardware. Both can Geo-Filter. -
Totally understand that. Follow this guide to reinstall the latest firmware via TFTP - this will install the firmware bypassing the boot process and any issues that may be there. Then do a factory reset afterwards, this will give you the freshest install possible and it should work fine after that https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP

Hey, welcome to the forum! I don't think there is anything in the current beta build which would help but please do try it and if it doesn't work then let us know and we can investigate further https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-DumaOS-3-0/bd-p/en-home-beta-npg-duma -
Okay great thank you, that indicates it should be a problem with the QoS settings. Just before that, did you disable WMM in Advanced WiFi settings by any chance? If so you will need to re-enable that and it will work. Put Congestion Control on Never, Reset Distribution for Bandwidth Allocation and make sure both Share Excess options are enabled and finally disable any Traffic Prioritization rules, then retest the speed please. If you get full speeds that's good, then just enable CC on Always and see if upload adheres to what you've limited it to.

I haven't specifically used the media/readyshare aspect for a long time and don't have the capacity to do so currently so I couldn't say, likely you do need a DLNA app that can connect to it.
