  1. Some devices do not like Smart Connect and are not able to seamlessly transition bands based on Bandwidth as the router does without connecting manually to a band. I would suggest making a guest WiFi for such devices and then using Smart Connect for the main WiFi so you get the best of both worlds.
  2. Is that in router mode or have you put it in modem mode? Regardless of the way you have put it can you try the other method please and see if that works? It is a support forum so you will mainly see people with issues here, it does not represent the entirety of our customer base and is within normal levels for a consumer based product. We are working on it, it's a tough issue to pin down but it's a high focus for us. Is that all devices or wired/wireless specifically?
  3. Could you contact Mullvad and ask them for a configuration file that will work with OpenVPN 2.3.4 please?
  4. In that case I wouldn't worry about the benchmark results you're seeing - it is using the Google server which can be hit or miss sometimes
  5. Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. What is your exact physical setup, i.e. are you using a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?
  6. Relatively close yes. You do have some inherent spikes in the base connection but under load it is higher. What percentage are you using currently? Try something really low just to see whether it adjusts more favorably.
  7. Sorry to hear you're having this issue, have you tried the suggestions mentioned so far?
  8. What have you set your Download CC slider to? Does it change depending on the percentage used?
  9. 10. Is this the configuration that they provided you? You'll definitely need to remove all but one of the servers. The username/password should be your VPN login information, otherwise they should specifically say what to use. Did you have <ca> before begin certificate and </ca> after end certificate? If not then you will need that added.
  11. You will likely still encounter the issue but delete the PC from the Geo-Filter then in the Device Manager change the Device Type to a PlayStation then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and select the manual option, then try again.
  12. Here is the link to the .114 beta version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mwe5sx81gsc129/XR500-V2.3.2.114-DumaOS3.0.203.img?dl=0 Hard to say, we'll be releasing a new beta version soon so it depends how well that does as to when we would release it as a stable build.
  13. Ah I see, that means you're on DumaOS 2.0 instead of 3.0, was that intended? Not sure I follow, to move location click the home pin icon then click on the map and adjust the radius using the slider.
  14. Hey, welcome to the forum! You will receive a router yes but after all the orders before yours have been fulfilled so it could take a few weeks - that's a rough estimate.
  15. While not officially released that firmware had been fully tested and was linked by the XR500 lead. We do not have a finished developed firmware to provide you with. Features that make it on to the router is up to Netgear. I couldn't give an estimate at the moment. I've not heard of that issue at all, did you factory reset after upgrading? What happens when you try to make the circle bigger?
  16. Hi P4UL, just to make you aware, the update is a trial update done just to see whether it fixes that NAT issues with multiple consoles - reports so far show it does for most users. However, it is still a trial and therefore it has not been tested and reports have shown it's quite buggy. Would you still like to receive the firmware? If not, make a new topic and we'll be happy to help with the QpS issue you're having.
  17. That will almost certainly come with the next beta build - I don't have an eta on that currently but we're working on it.
  18. Fixes related to the DHCP disconnections, IPv6 etc just overall stability should be improved - no new features.
  19. Sorry, forgot the link! https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mwe5sx81gsc129/XR500-V2.3.2.114-DumaOS3.0.203.img?dl=0
  20. The stripped version isn't a beta - it's a security update for the 2.0 version, unfortunately named the same. Here is the latest beta which hasn't even really been officially released but it is the most stable in my opinion.
  21. Do so via ethernet - that is recommended anyway as wireless instability could affect the tests
  22. You've got decent speeds so it's unlikely any WiFi devices will cause you significant bloat but as above you can try any from there.
  23. Yes it is. It's possible although 50ms is actually a decent ping so probably not in this example.
  24. It won't be that quick, it will take a bit of time to reproduce it, debug it, fix it and then get it into an update, test it and then release it.
