I'm still seeing you have IPv6 enabled, are you connected to the R1?
-
Have you factory reset after upgrading? If so the MAC address should be entered by default so you can then enter the settings. Did you type them exactly right during the wizard? Sorry that's what I meant!
-
Okay so it's a gateway, have you given the R2 a static/reserved IP on it and put it in the DMZ?

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE

Not that I am aware of, is this without changing any settings? Where were you checking the speeds exactly? -
What is the model of your modem/router the R2 is connected to?
-
Enter 1000/50 in the Bandwidth Settings of Congestion Control and disable QoS fully there also, then do speedtest.net from the chromebook, what speeds do you get?

Haha appreciate the photo! I'm not a developer so definitely more than me working on it. We've ramped up our team quite a lot within the last 2-3 years so we're definitely moving in the right direction. Don't worry it will be coming! -
Okay enable remote support in WAN settings, ensure you have no port forwarding rules enabled, disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN and make sure you've setup the R2 with your modem/router to allow devices connected to the R2 to get an open NAT. Let me know when you've done that please as we'll need to access the router. It will be a few days at least due to easter holidays.

If you have been adjusting QoS that will account for the discrepancy, can you provide a screenshot of your benchmark results? Are ALL devices connected to the R2?

We will update Ping Heatmap but you can try to force it on the Geo-Filter by putting your radius there -

QoS doesn't affect the speed reported on Connection Benchmark so I think the connection to the server we used at that time was just not able to get the higher speeds, nothing to worry about as speedtest.net reports correctly. -
What are the speeds you actually pay for/expect as there is a big discrepancy there so we should find out why that is

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
Any device can cause congestion on the network so I would advise to use it. Even a device doing a background update can cause lag spikes. -
Ce seront les améliorations de stabilité de la qualité de service et les améliorations globales

Heureux d'entendre que vous l'appréciez! De quelle explication avez-vous besoin?

Try doing a download or stream on your device, then run Auto Setup, does it give you anything different? Reboot from the interface and then try to update as soon as you can. If that doesn't work then factory reset and try to factory reset asap. Great to hear that, thank you! Does Adblocker show it is blocking anything at all? I would suggest adjusting download on Congestion Control to see if you can get rid of that big spike. Thanks for the update that it doesn't work, I have asked the team for an update regarding this and will get back to you when I know more. I haven't seen anything like that on the R2 so far, seems to be exclusive to the R1. Can you provide a screenshot of your Adblocker page please? Great to hear that, thanks for the feedback!

Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hey, welcome to the forum! Thanks for the heads up, we'll get that updated! -
Since it's not specifically mentioned in the change log it's unlikely, but I'll check. Have you tried it? If you change some of the advanced options for auto setup do you get different results? It can also vary depending on the time of day.

Regarding the WiFi LED, this has never worked since we first started selling so no worries about that! Thanks for the heads up regarding the login details, I'll make a ticket. How many tests is it completing and what are your bandwidth speeds?
-
Are you using the details you set or the default admin / password ?
-
Did you do a factory reset after the upgrade?
-
Comme il n'est pas spécifiquement mentionné dans le journal des modifications, c'est peu probable, mais je vais vérifier. L'as tu essayé?
