  1. That must be an old beta version, you're quite behind on firmware, I'd highly recommend you upgrade to the latest: https://kb.netgear.com/000064837/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-64 once complete ~5 minutes after uploading, factory reset, wait 2 minutes then access and it should be working fine. It's a support forum so you will only see people having issues here but it's a small percentage of people that own the routers.
  2. No worries, glad it's all working now, thanks for the update!
  5. Did you get the issue straight after logging in for the first time? Generally this response is due to the browser, if it has an Adblocker for example, could you try with a different browser/in incognito mode and see whether it works?
  6. Could you try the TFTP method again but after you have turned it off, hold the reset button down and while still holding it power on the router and hold it until the light flashes 10 times then try to submit the firmware
  7. Keep us posted! What are those options as well - they sound like specific Xiaomi features?
  8. You could get an extender and you would just have the XR WiFi network to still connect to, we don't have any specific recommendations but Netgear do have quite a few. You could use another router in AP mode but this would create another WiFi network that you'd have to switch between depending on where you are in the house so the extender would be the easiest choice.
  9. Are you using Safari? Looks like you might be, in which case the browser forces HTTPS for you, if you try a different browser and check it's not forcing HTTPS then it should work correctly
  10. Are you using Armor? Are you forcing a connection to the interface using HTTPS?
  11. It doesn't really make sense to not work on one device if it isn't paused, the feature is either working or doesn't so it must be more on the phone end, are you using a different web browser on the phone - is it connecting to data instead of the WiFi etc
  12. Alright do keep us posted, basically if the mesh hands out IPs itself then the answer to 1 will be yes but you won't have control of individual devices & 2 would be no, the router would see the mesh as one device any devices connected to the mesh would be the mesh on the R2 essentially
  13. Your issue looks to be a bit different, go to the System Information page, click the icon set the retries to 5, then reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes then access and see if it has loaded
  15. Do you have Adblockers on the web browser? Can you try in an incognito window please? Do you know if you're forcing a HTTPS connection to the interface?
  16. Are you using a VPN to get around SBMM then? If so it may be that they're cracking down on it or that you're more likely to be reported by players if you're dominating them
  17. I would generally recommend you enable them unless it causes issues which is possible for older devices. You can find some more information about the individual features on pages 142-145 in the manual: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR1000/XR1000_UM_EN.pdf
  18. Open Settings on the phone, then go to Network and Internet, next to the R2 WiFi, tap Settings scroll down and disable 'Randomised MAC address'. Then on the router in LAN Settings give the phone a reserved IP address, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing/using the internet then check to see if it's blocking ads.
  19. Interesting, what is the web browser/device you're using to access the interface? No there isn't a way for users to do that
  20. Did you factory reset after upgrading as that is usually recommend after an update. Usually if that happens it actually is running/appears to be but the graphs/values don't populate and then it appears as a completed test at the bottom of the page. Could you provide a screenshot of the page including browser, uncropped please and I can see if I can spot anything - if you could do the screenshot shortly after trying to run the test that would be ideal.
  21. Hey, welcome to the forum! Which router and firmware version are you using? What actually happens when you start it, does it try to start but the graphs don't update and it finishes and gives grades at the bottom in the history?
  22. It's probably because you're trying to do it via the mobile browser, I suspect it would work fine via a PC. Okay so the speeds are a lot better it seems with QoS off, what do you get with a wired device with QoS completely off?
  23. When it stopped working did the phone do an update by any chance to a newer version of Android?
  24. Great to hear that, it shouldn't be too much longer for another firmware release
  25. It doesn't look like QoS has been disabled from the Congestion Control menu as each panel should physically say QoS disabled once done
