How quickly after the upgrade did you factory reset exactly?
-
Switch it to devices instead of applications, reset Bandwidth Allocation then see if the speeds are stable please
-
What web browser are you using? Could you try accessing 192.168.1.1 instead please and see if it works?
-
Was this after an upgrade that you reset and got that error? Can you provide a screenshot?
-
Ah that explains it, Adblocker requires Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to work, disabling QoS fully also disables DPI therefore making Adblock stop working as well. If you don't want to use QoS set the percentages to 100 and Never, also disable Traffic Prioritization and you'll be good to go.
-
And Bandwidth Allocation? Do you have Share Excess disabled for that?
-
That's fine just refresh the page and it will have taken affect. You're on a very old firmware so I would suggest you upgrade: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39522-new-r2-firmware-32453/ then after a few minutes once you have access do a factory reset from the interface then wait 2 minutes before accessing and go through the wizard. Then see if it works after that, if not then do my steps from above.

Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.

It's not faulty, to force specific servers you'll need to put Ping Assist to 0. Restricting your search can make it take longer to get a game, if I recall correctly you may need to search a few times on FIFA to get one within your radius.
-
That all looks fine, what is your physical location approximately?
-
Give it a reboot, wait 2 minutes then try again please, are you able to ping without error?
-
Hey, welcome to the forum! Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? What game and platform are you playing?
-
The test you're using seems to be for website owners and I don't think that type of test would work for our network (rather than browser) based Adblocker. Did you factory reset after upgrading to .453?

Update firmware netduma R2Update firmware netduma R2
Netduma Fraser replied to Airchus's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It is recommended to do so via ethernet but it isn't necessary, I update over WiFi when easier and I've not had a problem - just remember it will disconnect you so you'll have to connect back to the WiFi after a few minutes- 3 replies

Best Browser for netduma ?
Netduma Fraser replied to Michael Carrasco's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The interface will log you out, I believe the timeout is about 30 minutes or so, that being said I use the Brave browser - it's Chromium based (based on Google Chrome tech). -
Is it happening just as frequently or has it been reduced? Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?

Hdr afecta los juegos online
Netduma Fraser replied to Eduardo bastos's topic in Call of Duty Support
Siempre que su dispositivo pueda manejar la calidad mejorada, no deberÃa afectarlo negativamente. -
Missing JSON response
Netduma Fraser replied to David824's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You could try Firefox, you can set the value of the timeout - network.http.connection-timeout in about:config -
Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. When did it first occur? What firmware version are you on currently? If you give the router a reboot, wait 2 minutes then access has the error gone?

West Coast Server Issue Warzone Battle Royal
Netduma Fraser replied to mfielding's topic in Call of Duty Support
I would recommend the latter, set PC to PlayStation in Device Manager and then when adding to the Geo-Filter select the Manual option. This will also allow you to filter other games on PC if needed without switching services. -
West Coast Server Issue Warzone Battle Royal
Netduma Fraser replied to mfielding's topic in Call of Duty Support
This is something we have seen, it seems as though for some reason that they've reduced/made it harder to connect to West Coast servers and instead force central/east coast instead, trying to force a server on the West doesn't seem to work as well, I think if you disable Filtering Mode but still look to see where it it puts you you'll see that as well. -
New XR1000 dropping internet over LAN
Netduma Fraser replied to mfielding's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It'll be because it requires more processing power to use QoS/DPI and as such will reduce the speed, also the way QoS works when it is active it will decrease the speed to eliminate bufferbloat -
Yes that's correct. Do you have NAT Type 2 in console settings? If so you will have an Open NAT, it will be a misreading on the game, most likely caused by the Geo-Filter - if you disable the Geo-Filter then launch the game it should say Open, in which case you can ignore the reading going forward and re-enable the Geo-Filter.
-
Did you put the 192.168.77.1 IP in the modem DMZ or the WAN IP from the System Information page? Where are you reading the NAT type, in game or in the console network settings?
