Are you actually getting internet on the console, it's just failing the NAT test? Did you leave the console on while you did this? If so please reboot that and check.

Yes that's the correct screenshot thanks, nothing out of the ordinary there. NAT is secured so no security issues on your side, just this ping flood I think. Given your experience of gaming and feeling like you were going to disconnect that would make the most sense, Amazon and Hetzner definitely do game servers, the Nuclear one do sell dedicated servers I believe. Let's put it to the test, if you're able to, go one day without gaming but monitor your connection, see if you get any lag, disconnects or buffering and keep an eye on the log, does the ping flood still appear?

It resets the router back to it's default set back to 'factory' condition, so like you were setting it up for the first time. However the firmware version will stay the same, it won't revert. You can do it from the interface, Settings > Administration > Backup Settings > Erase then wait 2 few minutes before accessing or hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then access.

Your network won't be comprised, anyone with your IP address could launch an attack. The reason I asked about the game was that it was a game server IP address that seemed to be flooding you. Could you provide a screenshot of your WAN Settings please?

You need to have a subscription to a VPN provider to use the HybridVPN feature on the router.

You can use the Games Console service that will work fine. If you want to do ports then you'll need to have a look online for the ports the game uses and then enter that into the Advanced section on Traffic prio.

On the BT Hub does it give you an option specifically to select a device or did you put the IP address of the R2 in? What platform are you playing on and where are you checking the NAT status?

It's just an anomaly, you can ignore it, it won't affect your ability to use the Geo-Filter

A factory reset would definitely fix it, I'll then add your name to the list for expansion for the beta and you may see more stability on that version
