  1. It can happen if its connected incorrectly, it seems like everything is working but it's just being a switch, otherwise it's a potential cloud issue which I have the team looking into. I've asked someone else for a log but haven#t received that yet, if I get one that should point to the issue

  4. Could you grab the log from the System Information page after trying to set the home address or resyncing the cloud please?
  5. For the location, if you click the pin icon next to the home icon you can click on the map to set the location manually - it doesn't need to be pin point accurate, just in your state will do. Just to double check, is the R2 internet port connected to the modem LAN port?

  10. Does it complete a Connection Benchmark at all? If not then the error makes sense. What happens if you force the update?
  11. Thanks for the heads up and for trying it, do consider trying the beta and a factory reset, perhaps the change in firmware and the reset combined will resolve it
  12. I don't know if it is that but the timings are similar, you can re-setup as normal yes
  13. We did push a cloud late last week, that could be it potentially, I'll check with the team tomorrow and get back to you

So if you download the firmware from here: https://kb.netgear.com/000064857/XR500-Firmware-Version-2-3-2-134 then on the interface go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update and upload it there. We are definitely looking into it, I would suggest trying the beta if you haven't already though.
  15. Just to clarify, putting your PC in the Geo-Filter made the router interface faster? Are you getting an error when trying to input the address? Have any settings been changed or anything in your setup prior to these issues appearing?

  18. When did the issue start occurring, was it after changing a setting etc?

The v2 has a comparable hardware change that needed to happen to keep selling the router but functionally there is no difference. "Does this mean once finally tested the XR1000 version will be the same as the Netduma R2?" It will bring it more in line with the current offering on the R2 yes!
