That's just for how to test the NAT, the advice to open it is the same for every platform.

Please do use the guides above and that should get you sorted! If not post back and we'll be happy to help further.

less than 10 servers showing for WZ.2 ??
Netduma Fraser replied to craigbarrick's topic in Call of Duty Support
We'll get Ping Heatmap updated this week and then it should show correctly, if you haven't seen it populate properly before then you may have needed to resync the cloud as the update may not have been downloaded to your router. Good advice above! -
I've added it to the list but as it is the weekend we won't be able to do it yet

I believe you have! Not something we can do on current hardware but we'll definitely keep it in mind for any future routers -

Netduma Fraser replied to craigbarrick's topic in Call of Duty Support
Hey, welcome to the forum! Resync the cloud from the Ping Heatmap icon, if that's still happening we'll need to update it but the servers should still be in the same location generally and so can be forced using the Geo-Filter -
XR500 setup with Virgin Media Hub 3.0
Netduma Fraser replied to endo2406's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You'll need to change the VM Hub back to router mode, then check the System Information page for the WAN IP which will then be in the 192 range, then you can enter the last digits in the DMZ on the Hub. Then yes you can disable the WiFi on the hub if you wish and just use the XR WiFi, that is the best setup. -

XR500 setup with Virgin Media Hub 3.0
Netduma Fraser replied to endo2406's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hey, welcome to the forum! That's correct on the DMZ, if you have a look at the IP on the System Information page the IP will be the same other than the last digits, that's what you put in. Yes we generally recommend to use QoS, have a look at https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 and that should help you get setup. QoS may need tweaking from the standard 70% to get better results. -
some problems XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to Wantox81's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Do you notice any difference in the send/receive rates etc on auto ping? Do you notice the CPU usage on the System Information page gradually decreasing as time goes on? -

That is very hard to say, worse in what way, does the ping increase? -
It doesn't have any sort of beta currently That is something we're working on fixing!

Unplug the R2 from power, wait for 10 seconds, hold the Factory Reset button, while continuing to hold plug the power back into the R2 and keep holding the reset for 30 seconds then release. Wait 2 minutes, then try accessing please and see if you can go through the setup wizard. -

I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634 -
XR1000v2 Firmware Version 1.1.0.16
Netduma Fraser replied to Sentinel82's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It should say on the sticker on the bottom of the router, if it doesn't say v2 you have the original. Another way to tell is looking at your firmware version, if it starts with 1.0.0 you have the original. If it starts with 1.1.0 you have the v2. Also if you already had an XR1000, had no idea about a v2 and haven't bought it within the last 6 months or so then you have the original. -

Does routerlogin.net work? What do you see when trying to access? You might need to reset a few times before it takes -

The 3074 port is most likely to be the one that prioritizes the most, they won't all be necessary when in the game playing -

What ports are you opening? DumaOS Classified Games should prioritize for you or adding with the Games Console service. -

To login to the XR was 10.0.0.1? Set a static IP on the PC with the following details IP address: 10.0.0.100 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 10.0.0.1 DNS: 10.0.0.1 If you're not sure how to do this, you can check this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows then try accessing 10.0.0.1 please and see if it works. -
