Good to know, thanks for the update, so it's blocking the ads which is blocking the playback as well, that's why we've having trouble blocking YouTube ads in general so makes sense!

The wildcard won't work unfortunately, in the list these are the mentions of roku, try with these as well: ads.roku.com logs.roku.com mobile.logs.roku.com p.ads.roku.com scribe.logs.roku.com traces.sr.roku.com austin.logs.roku.com Not sure on how we compiled the list, I'd have to ask on that one.

Hybrid VPN Nord W/ Xbox Series X
Netduma Fraser replied to nowngamer's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's one of the downsides of using a VPN, you can't really get an Open NAT, it shouldn't affect how the game plays, just who you're able to connect to. -
Try these URLs specifically instead: ads.youtube.com fcmatch.youtube.com s2.youtube.com

XR1000 Packet Loss in Warzone
Netduma Fraser replied to DimeRider27's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Are you loading the config file from the previous version? If so that could be contributing to issues, it's not recommended. If you're going to factory reset to potentially resolve an issue, restoring a config could restore the issue as well. -
XR1000 Packet Loss in Warzone
Netduma Fraser replied to DimeRider27's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You don't have to factory reset but if you encounter an issue you're only seeing after an upgrade then it is a good idea to do so to ensure remnants from the previous version aren't causing any issues. QoS is recommended to ensure your network is stable, especially if you're encountering packet loss. It could also be the server, in which case using the Geo-Filter to try different servers would be a good idea. -
Warzone 2.0 - Geo-Filter Not Working
Netduma Fraser replied to TheSkyscraper's topic in Call of Duty Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client You'll want to ensure Ping Assist is set to 0, then see if it works better. -
You don't need to add them to your allow list, as long as they're showing within your radius and don't have a blocked symbol then you can connect to them. It won't always be instant as you are restricting the amount of servers that are joinable.
-
That would happen for 2 devices not connected to the AP though if you see what I mean, so they're not being anymore restricted than they would be if there weren't connected to the AP. Always best to do the factory reset after, especially when there have been some major changes, try that and then see. Glad to hear it's working well other than that though!

Okay that's really good to know, well done for finding that, try the new Early Access firmware and see if you get the disconnect with STP disabled again.

Good question above, could you provide a screenshot of your QoS & Geo-Filter pages please? -

Gracias por la actualización, se la paso. -
Primarily the people who get the router are those with a lower speed connection as QoS can really help them, people with higher speeds tend to believe QoS isn't needed with higher speeds. It's needed less but can still be beneficial so I think there is more work to be done there to prove it's needed before investing into something like that. I do get your points and they are valid, manufacturing hardware is very expensive that's why for us just getting into that space (R1 used another router with our firmware loaded on, R2 was our first attempt at our own hardware) it's a tough balancing act. We do actually recommend those who care more about hardware to go with the XR range and those who care more about the software to go with the R2.

That's what I would expect to happen though, the device you're using connected to the AP is restricted to the 50Mbps for example set on Congestion Control, it'll apply network wide, unless I've misunderstood your meaning? That makes sense! Yes you've doubled entries so best to remove that, if you add YouTube.com as an allowed/whitelisted domain does it then work on the TV?

If you could check at some point if the hard reset now works after the software reset that would be great. Good points, I'll make a note of them. In regards to the Geo-Filter capping devices, it's already very hard to distinguish which icons refer to which devices when added if they're all being used at the same time, we do have plans to have separate Geo-Filters to resolve this, not sure if that will hit the 700 or not (I don't think it's near ready for any platform). For AP and such, it shouldn't matter as the AP just acts as the bridge to the devices connected to it so they should receive the throttle percentage speed, is that not the case?

Lo pasé, resincronicé la nube en el Administrador de dispositivos y Geo-Filter y luego verifiqué nuevamente, por favor -
Not a bother at all, added!

Did you do a factory reset after the upgrade?
-
Do this straight away: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. That should mean that it knows you can't connect outside your radius and won't even try. Unless of course you are right and there are minimal options after it's determining your skill that day.
