As above, it's an authentication server required for online play. The biggest icon on the map will always be the game server, in this case it's the one in your polygon so all good and working as expected!

Disable Fast Search and then it will force it just to the area you have selected.

Hello, welcome to the forum! There isn't an easy way to apply it to the whole network as it wasn't designed for that purpose, you'd have to add each device and select Do NOT VPN these services and don't add any services, then it will apply to each device.

Playing with friends outside of my radius
Netduma Fraser replied to Infoseye's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Unfortunately not, best bet would be you be the host and force the East Coast so it's as close to you as possible and depending your ping should be around 80 -
Have you got IPv6 enabled for LAN as well? If not set that and see if it then works please

Okay if you look on the network connections normally, what IP are you seeing for the way you're connected to the router?

The host of the game should have the Geo-Filter enabled, if you're not the host then you shouldn't have it enabled as the host will be searching according to different parameters to you so it will either continue searching until it finds a middle ground for you both or in some cases they could be allowed in and you would be booted. So either disable it or you be the host then you can use the Geo-Filter. -
Comment fais-tu ça exactement ?

Vous pouvez toujours utiliser le Geo-Filter, si vous rencontrez des problèmes avec QoS, créez un nouveau sujet sur ce que vous rencontrez exactement et nous serons heureux de vous aider.

Adblocker - viewing default adblock profiles
Netduma Fraser replied to Ashram's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
No not necessarily, the one I mentioned is the only URL for that site present in the list, it may be there are other URLs used when using that service. The best thing to do would be to attempt to load content on that site, then have a look at the Adblocker page and you should see the URLs that are being blocked at that time, then add them one by one to the whitelist and see which one works. Then let us know what it is and we can get that whitelisted overall so others don't have the same issue. -
Connection Benchmark uses different servers to determine your speed and it doesn't appear to be accurate for everyone but that doesn't mean it's limiting you, if you're getting 860 through Ookla that's what you're getting and can ignore the Benchmark speed test. Overall you will see slower speeds through a router as it does a lot more processing than a modem so the speed you're getting is about right.

Thank you for the screenshots, for starters go to Device Manager, click the icon and delete offline devices. You have a ridiculous amount shown and it looks like a lot of them are duplicates and no longer used. Are you using Always or Auto Enable for Congestion Control? Also a screenshot of the full Geo-Filter Map would be helpful alongside Traffic Prioritization. Based on your Connection Benchmark results your base ping is fairly high and does having spikes which isn't a great place to start, that being said it looks like Ping Under Load can be improved. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

Could you do ipconfig getifaddr en1 in the terminal instead please and let me know what it says?

Hey, welcome to the forum! Depending on how you've setup the ISP modem it will be overwriting the DNS you have set here, so you could put the modem in bridge/modem mode for example then it would work or you could enter the Cloudflare DNS on the ISP modem as well.

R2 no internet connection while connected via LAN
Netduma Fraser replied to Cameron13's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hello, I'm helping you over email so we can continue there as I would be the one replying here anyway -
I wouldn't say it's a dead game, we keep the most recent CoD games otherwise we'd have a ridiculously long list which isn't needed as they basically use the same servers in the same locations for every game so you can use those to inform your Geo-Filter settings

Welcome to the forum! Try this and see if it improves Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

How are you rebooting exactly? What changes after a reboot? We're happy to help if you wish to troubleshoot but understand if you don't, the next firmware isn't far off now so may be worth a try when that is available.
-
CC/Benchmark advice above is a good place to start. Are ALL devices connected to the XR router? Try forcing slightly further away servers even if your ping is a little higher as they may actually play better for you

5ghz radio staying on during restart
Netduma Fraser replied to Rylo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you're not able to connect to the internet or the interface via those methods then they won't be active and won't be causing any problems, likely in one of the recent updates it was missed by mistake
