The Ireland one definitely is an authentication server, though it could be mislocated on the map, if you provide the ID I can check it. It's possible the Japan one could be authentication as well which would explain why you're getting longer waits if you're blocking all of them. Having a look at the servers, it's a mix of Google, Microsoft & Vultr, Vultr will definitely be a game server, the others could be game servers or authentication servers, it's hard to say. Delete all your blocked servers other than these: 15DEXDW 1K8U6ZI 1AJ48YF CKHXVL These are the Vultr ones so almost certainly game servers. See if the search takes as long and if you start getting games closer to home. Also what router and firmware version are you on?

Okay but what about connected to the R3? If you answer the questions I can investigate further.

Halo Infinite Geo Filter on the NETDUMA R3 with DUMA OS 4
Netduma Fraser replied to Tru ELiTE's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client See if it works then and in the meantime I'll let the team know that a Ping Heatmap update is needed for the game. -
Not too long ago they mentioned about VPNs and how they were taking steps to prevent people using them - I can't recall if they specified how they would do this but a simple solution would be to implement a ping limit. That sounds like what is happening here, in which case HybridVPN wouldn't help as it would only increase your ping further (HybridVPN is on the R3), that may be possible but that's exactly what they're trying to prevent - people getting around SBMM. It's not something we could help with specifically.

You're in Early Access where .645 is the latest: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/58424-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40645/ Are you seeing the bufferblot/high latency in game or just on a test? How often are you needing to restart? If you could grab a log when the disconnect happens (if it still happens on .645) we can take a look

Netduma R2 connection constantly shutting off
Netduma Fraser replied to guymetal's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Please provide the logs when it happens again -
What do you mean by the connection gets bad exactly? Do you have the same experience on the Early Access firmware? We would always suggest upgrading to the latest available for the best stability.

vpn no conect to ps5
Netduma Fraser replied to yadriel's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
Can you provide a screenshot please? Where approximately are you located and what location are you using for the server? What do you mean it won't let you add the PS5 to HybridVPN? - Do you mean it's greyed out once you add it? If so that is expected and it will apply to the console. -
NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes that's correct. Don't reboot the router with the VPN enabled and it shouldn't happen again -

Will need more information than that, can you provide a screenshot of how you've setup the VPN please? Is it just the PS5 or all devices? -
Incorrect Download Speeds
Netduma Fraser replied to Barry12's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's good to hear, much better! -
Are other devices connected via ethernet getting the same issue? Do you get the same issue plugging it into the different LAN ports? Are the WiFi devices definitely connected to the R3 WiFi? Can you provide a picture of how the back of the router looks with all the cables in it please?

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you on this update or the Early Access .645 version? If this one, does the .645 version work better? Yes it can be a little unreliable which we're working on -
Glad to hear you got it sorted. By playing up do you mean the Device Manager is reporting it offline? If so, unless there is active traffic devices can appear offline even if they're on. If the TV actually has internet and is working then there is nothing to worry about and it would switch to online during active use.
-
You can set it up through the wizard yes. You need to be connected to the R3 WiFi to continue in the app/with the Setup Wizard, it doesn't matter that it doesn't have internet, you still need to connect to it and complete the wizard. Without completing the wizard you won't get internet access.

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Press the button once and then you have two minutes to set another device into WPS pairing mode, does it work then? -
You don't need access to the internet to complete the setup wizard so it can be completed even in that situation. Are you saying you've not yet accessed the wizard or you've accessed it but when it tries to connect you're not getting internet? If the latter then you can click advanced then skip and complete the rest of the wizard to get to the interface. Then reboot the VM hub, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3 from the interface 3 dots top right of the screen wait 4 minutes then see if you have internet
-
So you've successfully completed the Setup Wizard? Did the wizard show it was getting internet at the time? Do you know if you require PPPoE/VLAN for a connection? - If so did you enter this in?
-
I can't determine that at the moment but it certainly wouldn't hurt but before that while connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.
-
Do you have a PC you can connect via ethernet to the router with? Are you connected to the R2 WiFi when trying to access?
-
That doesn't really make any sense - take the VM out of modem mode, set the XR with a static/reserved IP on the VM, then set that in the DMZ - that might resolve it anyway as I find sometimes the modem mode implementation isn't as good as it should be and the DMZ works better. Then reboot the XR, verify you still get internet, check to see if you get the same issue, if you do then disable DHCP on the XR again and check
