That would be applying to the entire device so if that's not working then it will be an issue with the config/server

How far is the phone from the router when testing, is there any difference in speeds between 2.4 & 5GHz?

You'd have to look that up but I suspect it's the same kind of ports -
Hybrid VPN not working for netflix
Netduma Fraser replied to JordyLuna's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It's likely the service is outdated so we'll need to update it, you'll have to apply it to the entire device or specific ports for the moment -
Remove the service and change to Do NOT VPN these services and see if it applies to the device

They are low yes, did you experiment with the widths/channels and use a WiFi analyzer to determine the best channel?
-
It's definitely due to PPPoE, if you can have another router/your ISP router handle PPPoE instead your speeds will increase. If possible we will improve the speeds with PPPoE.
-
How did you make the rule for the device you're on? Can you provide a screenshot of HVPN?
-
You can have decent speeds/connection on a 1 bar and a slow speed/connection on full bars, it's not necessarily indicative that you'll have issues. That's also the connection your phone is receiving, your router isn't affected by this and your console seems to be getting a strong enough connection to get those speeds

Ping Optimizer is not working after update
Netduma Fraser replied to JamJoe's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. -
Those are really good pings, in fact it's quite uncommon for those 2 values to be so close

It's likely due to PPPoE, what speeds are you getting over ethernet? Also try these suggestions: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

cant access xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to rjaaayyy's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Is it definitely connected to the XR wireless? Do the ipconfig I mentioned previously but connected via WiFi and provide a screenshot of what you see. You don't need to allocate it all your upload, games barely use any bandwidth, usually less than 1Mbps, giving it more doesn't make it use more. The console speed tests are estimates - it usually says this on the test itself. If you get your expected speeds via a wired PC to speedtest.net then you won't be limited. -

In DHCP set the PS5 to have a reserved IP, then put it in the DMZ and it should persist after reboots -
Strict NAT Type in Warzone / COD since a short while
Netduma Fraser replied to Yellan's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Yes and no, just best to keep your public IP private where possible. If it's a gaming VPN maybe you can get an Open NAT but unlikely, otherwise the VPN wouldn't have been applying to the whole device. Are all devices connected to the R2 or do you have some still connected to the ISP router? -
Strict NAT Type in Warzone / COD since a short while
Netduma Fraser replied to Yellan's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You won't get an Open NAT using HybridVPN Have you made any port forwarding rules on the R2? Putting the PS5 in the DMZ would probably open the NAT I'd suggest removing the images as your public IP is shown Does the PS5 still show NAT Type 2 when CoD shows strict? Disable the Geo-Filter then reboot the game/console, does it show open in the game then without putting the console in the DMZ? -
R3 Randomly Rebooting and losing Internet
Netduma Fraser replied to geordiecrawf86's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The specs are on the plug itself, nothing specific outside what is mentioned there, doesn't need to be an official one and we don't sell those separately. Not sure it is a power issue yet for certain -
R3 Randomly Rebooting and losing Internet
Netduma Fraser replied to geordiecrawf86's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Do you have it connected to a power extender or direct to an outlet? If an extender please try direct to an outlet. Otherwise do you have another power adapter you could try with?
