That would indicate when the router above the R2 is handling PPPoE that it's not properly passing through IPv6, is it enabled on that router?

QoS and WiFI
Netduma Fraser replied to fletcherjames1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
No not yet unfortunately, I don't think its an easy fix -
Seeing the two IPs isn't necessarily an indication of a double NAT, you will see that regardless because you're using two routers. Using the exposed host option will get rid of the double NAT, you can then check your NAT status on a game/console to verify this.
-
You don't have to buy a modem, you can just put the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the DMZ feature on your modem/router and that will prevent the double NAT.

Nope you have access, it's public, just follow the instructions in the first post. No list currently, Adblocker is entirely created by us, not using another solution. -
XR1000 ANTICIPATED FIXES & ADDITIONS
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Looks like it's because your timezone isn't correct, it's expecting UTC -8, you may need to toggle DST for the time, then when Sys Info shows the correct time it should be fine -

If you want to VPN Netflix which I assume you do then you need to switch the mode to Only VPN these services. Looks like it has applied to the Xbox, where are you seeing the IP on it? In future so you don't crop aspects of the picture out here are some instructions you can use to take a screenshot on the PC that you can then attach here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-snipping-tool-to-capture- screenshots-00246869-1843-655f-f220-97299b865f6b

We don't have any specific recommendations, any that support your speeds and have a WiFi standard you would benefit from will be good.
-
The Xbox showing greyed out is normal for the VPN, it will be applying to the entire console. If you're getting those kinds of speeds through the PC behind the VPN then you've not setup the VPN correctly as you would be limited to probably 25Mbps maximum. Can you provide a screenshot of your HybridVPN page please?

I'll check in with Alex and see when he may be able to do so.

You definitely won't get better than ethernet, it's a very old router - older than 2014 and it only supports 2.4GHz which limits you on speed as well. Try this: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Disable Syn Flood Protection and see if that improves it at all.

FIRMWARE: 3.3.308 Smart QoS (Hit Detection)
Netduma Fraser replied to TODDzillaInLA's topic in Call of Duty Support
Yes that's the latest public version -
The Geo-Filter shows it is a server in Bahrain, if the location in your profile is correct I am surprised that you got as low as 90ms to that server. Based on calculating avg ping times between the two countries your ping should be at least 130ms. As to why your ping has suddenly changed this is very likely down to your ISP routing, it's not something I would usually recommend but to test this as you're on PC you could try a program such as ExitLag which modifies the route your traffic takes to the game server - if it is ISP routing that has changed then your ping should go back down again to the same server.

Bad Hit Reg. Latency 1 second behind the enemy movements.
Netduma Fraser replied to Oguzhan's topic in Call of Duty Support
Ahh, the first time you signed up you marked No to owning an R2, so we didn't grant access. I've given you access now, the above link will work now. -
In LAN Setting, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.

It's possible routing in your country changed, you can try Smart QoS now if you want to, you'll need to sign up here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ -
In theory you should be able to do that yes. I'm not sure in regards to VOIP but toggling the SIP ALG option in WAN Settings if it isn't working may help.

I haven't heard of changing the icon and I'm not aware of any way to do so using the router.
