  1. Yeah where are you testing upload to determine QoS isn't taking affect?
  2. Your Ping Plotter is actually quite good for when you're running 4k. I would recommend setting Ping Assist to 0 on the Geo-Filter. Where are you testing that upload stays at 100%?
  3. Forget about the Auto Setup, it's something we are still improving upon so it doesn't always give the best results. We generally suggest around 70% for download & upload as a starting point and then adjust it from there depending on your experience to find the value that works best for you. What is the model of the WiFi extender and just to clarify, the XR isn't handling VLAN or PPPoE now?
  4. There isn't really a one size fits all answer, it's generally best to force the servers closest to you so within a sort of 1000km radius but some people like the experience when they force a server slightly further away. As you said we don't support people trying to circumvent SBMM, I don't necessarily believe it works
  5. You said you reset already? Hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface
  6. If you grab the log when it happens next I can see if it's pointing to anything else. Better is subjective, depends what your priorities are software or hardware, we always recommend our router for software or the XR range for hardware.
  7. I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634
  8. Sign up for Early Access here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ then once approved try the firmware there and IPv6 should work better
  9. Can you now disable IPv6 just on the LAN side on the R2, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes then reboot the console, wait a few minutes then check please?
  10. Are you able to access the interface at all? As you would need to complete the Setup Wizard before you can get internet
  11. Se hai abilitato il ping automatico, il ping verrà eseguito automaticamente (se è l'host) oppure puoi fare clic sull'icona sulla mappa per eseguire il ping manualmente.
  12. No there isn't a way to do that
  13. Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page also please?
  14. Good advice above, first thing to do would be a factory reset in this situation, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface
  15. I would be very surprised if they did an update and removed dedicated servers. Are you using IPv6, VLAN or PPPoE by any chance?
  16. With the manual option the Games Console service is added which is what should be used to filter consoles/console games so use that and you can filter the game. I believe the game only uses dedicated servers so you don't need to worry about telling the difference. We will sort the incorrect classifications/locations in a cloud update when Alex is able to.
  17. You didn't need to change the IP address to .50, that might be confusing it so change that back to .1 just in case to see if it then works (apply, reboot from interface, wait 4 minutes then monitor). If it happens again grab a log from System Information please. Unfortunately it's purely on the Netgear side so nothing we can resolve on our own and we haven't heard anything further about them sorting this. It's possible you could experience this on any firmware version so I don't have one I could specifically recommend.
  18. For PS5 when you add it to the Geo-Filter select the manual option, this will add it with the Games Console service and allow you to filter. The peer icons just mean the servers are misclassified but will actually be servers and won't affect your connection, it's just a visual mistake. We will be updating Ping Heatmap to reflect the new servers, Alex is very busy at the moment so hasn't been able to do so at the moment but I am frequently reminding him.
  19. As your issue isn't necessarily reflected in the ping I would suggest changing the percentage then playing a game and see how it feels/responds then keep doing that cycle until you get to some values that work best
  20. No you can just upload the same firmware you're on currently and then upgrade
  21. I just need a picture of the Device Manager table view so I can see the port table. For the DMZ on the VM Hub you'll want the WAN IP shown on the R2 System Information page.
  22. Ah glad to hear it, thanks for the update!
  23. Si se conecta directamente al enrutador de su ISP, ¿tiene los mismos problemas?
  24. Could you re-upgrade and then see if it's any better please? Did you do a factory reset after upgrading initially?
