Have you put the PC in the DMZ on the R3 or anything like that?

Compatible w/ VoiP & no Bridge Mode?
Netduma Fraser replied to Auroriius's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Hello, welcome to the forum! Does the Fritzbox have a DMZ option? If so you can use that with the R3 to ensure an Open NAT. I don't think we have specifically tested VoIP phones but in theory there shouldn't be an issue -
ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
As above, so for example, say you connect to a server you have 10ms ping to, you can enable Steady Ping that will apply by default around an 8ms buffer. Effectively giving you 18ms ping. Any jitter/spikes you would have gotten on that 10ms ping will be absorbed by the buffer, so where as previously you would have had a 10ms ping that spikes up and is inconsistent you instead get a smooth 18ms ping throughout your entire match that never changes. You can increase this buffer or disable it entirely. -
Great to hear that, thanks for the update!

Ah understood, if you can access using the PC change the credentials on there and then that should allow you to access via the app

You don't need to but can do if you wish

Ping Optimization has failed every time I’ve tried it
Netduma Fraser replied to CaSpA's topic in Community Discussion
If it can't ping the server it may fail, if you try again a few times does it work at all? -
Do you have Ping Assist set at all? Did you enable the Geo-Filter before you booted up the game/console?
-
If you do a speed test in the console network settings and check the Network Activity on the router while doing that does it appear?
-
To answer your points: For setup bugs do you mean bugs during the Setup Wizard? QoS PPPoE has been resolved, however if you're changing the Congestion Control percentages and expected your speed test to reflect it then it won't if you have speed test bypass enabled (which it is by default) Are you referring to the speed test on the router or speedtest.net? What speeds do you expect and what are you getting? How is Ping Optimizer crashing exactly? Where are you seeing the PS5 show online, Device Manager, Geo-Filter, SmartBOOST? Do you have the console in an instant on/standby state? If so a hard reboot should resolve it. HybridVPN will come quite soon. I can provide you an update if you would like to try it, check DM

Geo-filter problem on google chrome
Netduma Fraser replied to De4d SaVi0r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It is odd it's not working on Chrome, that's what I'm using and it's working well. Could you click the part where it says see error details please? Perhaps we can see the reason it's failing there -
Are you using Game Optimiser then?

Device Manager Import / Export Functions
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thank you, I will pass that on to see if we can make it better. You can change the view to just WiFi or wired which would help -
Missing devices on network monitoring
Netduma Fraser replied to BSilverthorn's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Does it show your device in the Device Manager at all? -
We're looking into the issue for the XR1000, keep an eye out on the app store for future updates

Great example of how ISP routers can be weird with new devices, glad you were able to get it sorted!

Geo-filter problem on google chrome
Netduma Fraser replied to De4d SaVi0r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you access using the IP address instead so http://192.168.1.1 and see if it works then please? -
Ahh that's great to hear! ISP routers can be funny sometimes in how they handle new devices, glad it's all worked out now. Probably best to leave it as is now it's working properly!
-
Geo-Latency is enabled by default so probably was on, alright let us know!

Device Manager Import / Export Functions
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's a really good catch, I was able to reproduce this, I will pass it onto the team to fix. Could you provide a screenshot of how that looks please? -
Do you mean the ISP router LAN is connected to R3 LAN or WAN? Okay no worries about bypass, it's enabled by default. Is it possible for the R3 to replace the ISP router at all - is the wall socket using ethernet?

Geo-filter problem on google chrome
Netduma Fraser replied to De4d SaVi0r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It should work fine on Google Chrome, do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled? If so disable that and refresh the page -
Yes on the Geo-Filter page if you click the 3 dots icon in the top right and go to Settings, Geo-Latency and Ping Assist can be enabled from there
-
Are all devices connected to the R3? Do you have speed test bypass enabled or have you disabled it?
-
Yes there is a way! Go to Settings > Internet Rules and you can do it from there. Great to hear that!
