  1. Okay so to summarize, switching the PC to a console made both the ping appearing and stabilizing working a lot more consistent? Your ping for Destiny 2 is quite low however for the other games it is quite a bit higher, I think you'd benefit from using the expert mode of Steady Ping for these games to increase the buffer more, maybe up to 20/30ms and see if the game is more stable then. Changing to the console won't affect the servers or connection quality at all, that's right switching to the console is more general than specifically selecting the games which is why you don't add games using it that way.
  2. Thank you for the positives, they're great to hear! Regarding WiFi, that's disappointing, so it sounds like you've split the bands and experimented with all the channels and widths is that right? Is the router in an elevated position & not on a metal surface? If not would it be possible to place it like this? Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible as it can interfere with the WiFi signal. Regarding the ping, Steady Ping is enabled by default which raises your ping to include a buffer so any inconsistency in the ping is absorbed by the buffer and you don't notice it. If you disable Steady Ping does your ping go back down?
  3. Sounds like you may have your radius too strict, how big is it?
  4. It won't work for anyone on an XR1000 trying to use the app at the moment, we're looking into it and will push an update with a fix as soon as we have one. There isn't a beta firmware available for the 1000 just yet.
  5. Glad port forwarding is working for you, may be due to using multiple consoles, I will pass that onto the team to take a look at, thanks for the report!
  6. We are looking into this issue so we can make it more reliable, is it just CoD you're noticing it not pinging reliably or other games as well? Do you have Ping Assist enabled at all?
  7. As a test if you disable SmartBOOST fully does it work better then?
  8. Email [email protected] and we can send you a confirmation Is there any specific mobile games you would want supported?
  9. What doesn't make sense about it? Yes that is the assumption, generally the ISP modem/router will not be set like this by default and will have been manually changed by the user
  10. Try logging in with these two links when connected to the R3: http://dumaos & http://192.168.77.1 does that work?
  11. It's possible Netgear removed the option then if it's not available in the other menus, in which case it won't be possible to access the interface from the WAN side unless you activate the VPN service and then connect to the VPN to connect to it
  12. It's an issue with the app, no one with an XR1000 will be able to access the app currently. We're looking into it and will push an app update once fixed.
  13. What was the IP you entered in the DMZ? Have you disabled DHCP at all? Can you access using routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 in the web browser?
  14. Added, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  15. That's strange, had you already connected the router and changed the WiFi password on the router without inputting the new password on the PC WiFi?
  16. Great let us know! If it's still an issue please get the System Logs from Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > System Logs after you've tried again and that could give us some insight on what is happneing. Thanks for the kind words!
  17. Thanks for the suggestion, I will add it to the list!
  18. Ahh I see, I don't really understand why it is giving you those: You have plenty of speed Your bufferbloat score is amazing Your general ping is the average I would ignore it as you definitely won't have issues getting low latency when gaming
  19. On the R3 go to Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced and disable the protection options, they can drop packets so disabling them may help
  20. Great to hear you see the difference when it is working! Let us know about Destiny. Also try removing the device from the Geo-Filter, changing the PC device type (icon) in Device Manager to a PlayStation and then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work more consistently then?
  21. Uninstall the DumaOS app then re-install it and it should allow you to then use the app correctly. Is the MAC connected to the R3 WiFi? If so does http://dumaos work?
  22. You can find this option in Settings > Advanced > Remote Management
  23. No there isn't but it has been requested and I've just made another note regarding it, we'll see what we can do!
  24. You'll need to sign up here for that: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ Let us know when you've done that and we can get you added
  25. Any that you've specifically noticed disconnects on
