  1. Check the map when that happens, there should be a blocked icon, click it and then allow it. You may need to do it a few times for their multiple servers and then it will work with the Geo-Filter enabled
  2. Great to hear that, what was the solution?
  3. Provide the log from the System Information page please and I can see if there are any indications there. The Huawei device is in modem/bridge mode then presumably?
  4. The individual game services on the Geo-Filter can become out of date - the workaround I mentioned will mean you don't need to worry about that and will work
  5. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It should show more reliably then. However, Fortnite is a weird one, it only tries to connect you to a server when it's actually loading you in to the pre-game run around lobby area and so that's the only time the router can block it which may result in a longer wait to get returned to the game search lobby. It may be faster to toggle filtering mode off, search, wait to see where it shows on the map/what it pings and then quit if needed and re-search.
  6. Looking at your Huawei model, the XR shouldn't be handling PPPoE, it doesn't need to it looks like, so disable PPPoE on the XR. Reboot the Huawei, wait 2 minutes, reboot the XR from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet.
  7. What platform & game? Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?
  8. Added
  9. Reboot your main modem/router/box that the R3 is connected to while the R3 is connected to it with the ethernet cable, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then check for internet. If that doesn't work please provide a screenshot of the WAN Settings page on the R3.
  10. Could you provide a screenshot of the Internet Setup page on the XR please?
  11. Great to hear you managed to get it sorted, thanks for the update!
  12. That's not actually the updated Battlefield option to pick I don't believe but regardless the game selections can always become out of date so they can be 'fixed' but they always have the potential to need updating, where the console workaround will always just work. Also a lot easier than switching games on the Geo imo.
  13. https://kb.netgear.com/24226/What-are-static-routes-and-how-do-they-work-with-my-NETGEAR-router 99% of cases home users will not need this
  14. Reboot the Huawei, wait 2 minutes, reboot the XR, wait 4 minutes then check again. If that doesn't work, connect your PC directly, enter PPPoE credentials on PC and see if you get internet that way.
  15. It could well be, it might be a cloud update we pushed on Friday, I'll have to check with the team on Monday, though if that was the case it's likely more people would have mentioned it. Let us know how you get on
  16. We wouldn't be able to determine that value I don't think. That's right, it'd apply automatically as soon as it is available. No worries at all and thank you! I'm enjoying it and I don't usually play BF!
  17. Does it happen if you connect direct to the modem?
  18. It's temporary in that it will determine whether it's the EE router causing the issue yes but if it is then without being able to disable the firewall on it there isn't much else I can advise, you'd have to contact EE
  19. What is the modem/router the XR1000 is connected to? Get through to the main interface then enable PPPoE and remove the set IP settings you made, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes then check
  20. Access with 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 instead and see if you can get past the page. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  21. We always try to test games during their beta stages where possible but due to the often limited time we have with it and that everything is subject to change we can never guarantee 100% support with it during the beta stage. While we finalised testing with it on Friday and so were able to put out a cloud update for our own platforms the same day, with EE we need to wait for their go-ahead before we can push an update that can affect so many people. So I would hope that we'd be able to get that out for the next beta event but if not we'll be ready to go at least for launch day. Do keep in mind as well that the servers are really busy currently, I'm getting into queues waiting to launch the game and that will be part of their testing, seeing how the networking experience is for everyone so I wouldn't expect everything to be super smooth currently.
  22. What are the values it's showing for packet loss/jitter? Have any new devices been added? Are more devices being used at the time?
  23. Glad to hear it's working on 4, we may need to do more tweaking for 3. It's very likely the servers are slammed at the moment so options may be limited, I was put into a queue earlier, I've rarely seen that on a game!
  24. Bypass the EE router by connecting the router directly to the ONT/Box the EE router is connected to. You'll then need to enter these PPPoE details into the router: User: [email protected] Pass: BT Then reboot and see if it can download from the cloud successfully
