No creo que el XR300 tenga HybridVPN, por lo que lamentablemente no podrás hacerlo.

Have I got the R2 hardware routed/plugged properly?
Netduma Fraser replied to TheMW2Ghost's topic in Community Discussion
You can just switch Filtering Mode off and leave your settings as they are, you'll still see servers, it just won't be doing any filtering - you can still ping. If you have trouble after switching filtering mode off restart the game, the game may be 'stuck' thinking you're only able to connect to those within your radius when it was enabled. -

How to ise Geofilter for multiplayer?
Netduma Fraser replied to Ivanbad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I would suggest the NAT set to Open option and leave DMZ disabled with UPnP enabled -
Okay keep us posted, otherwise provide a screenshot of what you're seeing outside your radius when it happens please

Okay great, you don't need to worry about the DMZ then -

If they are hosting the game you shouldn't have the filter enabled as you'll either get the split party or matchmaking will get very confused and not find a match at all. -

Is your ISP modem/router in bridge or modem mode? -
Are you seeing servers/players outside your Geo-Filter zone or is it just you're seeing them in game? If the latter you can't control where other players connect to, just the server you connect to.

Once the XR1000 update is out I think we'll be focusing on issues like this, so hopefully early next year I would suspect -

We don't give support for the kind of thing you're wanting to do, we designed the Geo-Filter to help get a better connection, not to force games with your own consoles -

Okay that will be to do with your line/modem then, I would highly recommend you contact Telstra so they can look into it. -

You won't see servers like Ping Heatmap, you'll see the server you're playing on and maybe some servers being blocked when searching. Yes filtering mode needs to be enabled otherwise it's not restricting the search according to your settings. Your base ping is quite jittery/spiky so it's not the best start, there is nothing we can do about that specifically, however your Ping Under Load can be improved to better match the Ping Test results. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. The idea is to get the Ping Under Load graph to look as much like the Ping Test graph as possible.

Ahhh, I see what is happening now, as you're playing cross platform you won't be able to see your friends as individuals on the map, they will almost certainly be connecting through a server. However, if you can't determine the server, disable the filter, invite them in, re-enable the filter, wait 2 minutes then search for a game and you should be good to go. -

Are you inviting to the party as the game is booting up? As this looks like the default server locations for the game. It's the same symbols they're just overlapping quite a bit. -
Netduma - Auto Detect speed
Netduma Fraser replied to Jeofel08's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
We don't have any news about that, currently we're still working on building out the feature -
Sure thing, so if you just connect the devices for gaming you won't be able to make full use of the features such as QoS. For QoS to be effective it needs to have control of your entire network. Of course if you just want the Geo-Filter for example then you could just connect the gaming devices and that will work normally. As far as I know it is out and available as long as you have the Smart Hub Plus. We're anticipating very little support queries coming directly to us for WiFi enhancer as most people will seek support from EE themselves. It's only those who are already a part of our community who have/will get EE or people who know we created it that we expect will come directly to us for support. I have sent you a private message by the way to collect details we can pass on to EE.

That is very strange, not sure what the game is doing there, could you and your friend load up CoD for example, and add them that way then move back over to BF and see if you can connect with them without adding anything else to the allow list? -

All those blocked icons appeared when inviting your one friend to the party? Did you still have Discord active at the time? -
Sorry to hear about your experience, please hold off on getting the R2 just yet as we will get them to help but to answer your question: In terms of the R2, it would absolutely work plugged into the Smart Hub, we do generally recommend that all devices get connected to the R2 though for the most optimum experience. For NAT you could just put the R2 WAN IP in the Hub DMZ and that will eliminate a double NAT.

To answer your questions: Ping Heatmap was added after the Geo-Filter, however we are planning on merging them in future. You click the dropdown list then you can ping your list or edit it by clicking the pencil icon next to it. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. I would also say don't expect Ping Assist to be a hard limit - it is an assist not a limit so you can get servers with slightly higher ping sometimes. Better to use heatmap, locate the low ping servers then force them with your radius. You have Connection Benchmark on the router which will be a better test of bufferbloat as it runs on the router level, what result do you get for Ping Under Load?

That will be a server we have whitelisted then as you're unable to deny it. Zoom in all the way and it should be a little easier to click on the specific symbol -

Yeah either you or they disconnect from the party, turn off auto ping, reconnect, ping, allow and then you're good to go.
