Geo filter not working / connection through TP link?
Netduma Fraser replied to Goodwinn20's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay yes that should be fine, I'm not generally a fan of those types of products but yes it will work -
It's not possible to connect to it on the WAN side, you have to be connected to the router either via WiFi or ethernet. It has been requested so it's on the list to be potentially added in future.

What web browser/device are you using to access the interface?

Geofilter putting me in location(s) outside of radius
Netduma Fraser replied to Chr's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then, restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game) or if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and try again please. See if that is more stable for you. -
I have sent you an update in PMs. You shouldn't be losing access to the interface at all so please let us know if that keeps happening after the upgrade

Can't connect Netduma r3 via PPPoe
Netduma Fraser replied to liolio2277's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Great to hear it's working now, it's in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > System Logs -
I've sent you a PM with firmware as I don't think you should be having those issues, please install it then factory reset and see if they are resolved. What was the Adblocker list you tried to add? Fair point on the smaller window for Settings, I'll add a request to expand that. We've never had any Firewall settings on our routers, as I mentioned it's primarily a gaming router, if we were making a more complex router things like this would be included. Good request for DHCP will add that to the list. Both the LEDs and WiFi power has been requested, as well as scheduled reboot so we may see that in future. Does your ping go up because it's connecting to a different server? If so then it would be best to keep the Geo enabled so you can try to force it every time.

¿Estás utilizando VLAN/PPPoE también? Deberíamos poder aumentarlo, el equipo podrá investigar eso más a fondo en el nuevo año.

Congestion Control has to be set to Always for these tests. Disable Traffic Prioritization as it can interfere with these tests then try it again- 9 replies

Did you get the disconnect just prior to getting the log? Are you using HybridVPN at all?

Geo filter not working / connection through TP link?
Netduma Fraser replied to Goodwinn20's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Best to respond on the forum, I am getting so many DMs at the moment that it is highly likely I will miss it. Are the TP Links powerline adapters or are they routers as well? -
I mean, there is an additional hop, albeit it probably on 1ms ping worth by having the other router. As long as no devices are connected to that other router then there won't be much difference.

That's brilliant to hear, thank you for the update!

Thank you for posting your positive experience, that's really great to hear!

I have sent you a message that allows you into the main wizard, then you can perform the update, that will fix the setup wizard issue so you won't get stuck again if you go through it, it will also fix VLAN for you so you should be able to get internet

Geo-Filtering doesn't work & other grievances
Netduma Fraser replied to Zer0Aspect's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Sent it to you all, it's important to note this isn't specifically for Geo-Filter issues. That's great to hear! Ping Assist you can set a range so you can get games between 20 - 40 for example. Steady Ping adds ping to the connected server to create a buffer where ping spikes/fluctuations are absorbed, giving you a steady consistent ping throughout the entire game that gives you a smoother experience. This can be disabled by clicking Steady Ping at the top of the map, you can also adjust the buffer. -
Okay that's interesting, in theory it shouldn't matter, do let us know if you continue to believe that to be the case
