NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Sorry I meant disable Adblocker so re-enable QoS, disable Adblocker, does it work then? -
Brilliant to hear it's all up and running now, let us know if you have any further issues/questions and we'll be happy to help.

XR1000 - does my setup work (bridge mode) ?
Netduma Fraser replied to whooee's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I just did a check and I'm not getting any fails, click the Ping Heatmap menu and resync the cloud then ping again and they should all work. You should be good to go for MW3! -
Estou tentando fazer com que ele faça isso hoje - vou continuar com ele

Disable / Enable ADBlocker from a URL
Netduma Fraser replied to DanologyUK's topic in Community Discussion
I would have to ask a dev on this as it's not a normal use case, I would think that a URL wouldn't do it and that a command would have to be entered in the console so probably not possible. -
NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535

It's very likely that is Adblocker rather than QoS, if you disable QoS does it work correctly? -

Hello, welcome to the forum! What you've done is fine, the fails on Heatmap just means we need to push a cloud update for it, nothing to do with how your router is setup. I'll let the team know to update it. -
Lamentamos saber que tienes este problema. ¿Podrías proporcionar una captura de pantalla de tu página de QoS, por favor?
-
Could you make the issue happen again then get the logs from the System Information page please?

Hybrid VPN won't connect.
Netduma Fraser replied to bi9grizz's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes you do, it's Do NOT VPN these services, so if you're not adding any services it applies to the whole device -
Hybrid VPN won't connect.
Netduma Fraser replied to bi9grizz's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Are you using the basic setup or advanced? If basic you will need to use Advanced and obtain the OpenVPN configuration files from Pure then enter that in and it should work. If that's what you're already doing please provide the config. -
I'll PM you with some ideas!
-
Just delete the device or toggle filtering mode off
-
Bufferbloat only occurs when the network is saturated i.e. when all your bandwidth is being used up so at your speeds the only time bufferbloat is going to be a problem is when you're doing a download, otherwise there is plenty for everyone to use. QoS will also only apply to have your speeds so it won't be controlling your full speeds. I don't think that's your issue. Where are your closest servers, can you use the Geo-Filter to get closer games and therefore a lower ping?
-
No that's not needed, is the Geo-Filter enabled for the device you're having trouble with? Disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu and try again
-
We haven't removed anything/changed anything on HybridVPN for a long time
-
It may be the Adblocker, if you disable that does it connect properly?

Netduma - Auto Detect speed
Netduma Fraser replied to Jeofel08's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
It's certainly a good idea so I'm sure we'll look into it! -
Ah I see, getting around SBMM isn't something we support so we wouldn't change anything to make it easier
-
Ah understood, best thing to check would be to see if it works when directly connected to your ISP modem/router. If it is region blocking then it would be an IP issue.
-
Sounds like he's referring to ports rather than IP - we've never had an option to apply it to an IP
-
What do you mean you're region blocked? Streaming services do usually only show you what is available in that country and you can only circumvent it by using a VPN. Have a look at our optimal settings guides here: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
-
As long as you do the DMZ you won't have a double NAT issue. No need to disable DHCP, disabling WiFi could be good if there is a chance devices would auto connect to it otherwise
-
We don't have a function to only apply it to a specific IP but maybe something for the future
-
Not that they need to support it, sometimes ISPs need to approve a router to work with their setup if they require their own router to be used for example. You'll likely have better luck with the TP not in bridge mode, a factory reset could get it working again, keep us posted
