Once you upload the firmware click upgrade and then it will do its thing, nothing else needed

The version in the top right didn't update after clearing cache?

Great to hear that, thanks for the update!

Sorry not .img it's .chk, you get it from the zip file from the link above. Ping Heatmap just pings servers, you use that to inform your Geo-Filter settings. If on Heatmap your lowest ping server is LA then on the Geo-Filter make sure to cover LA for example
-
Could be the server or local congestion, using Ping Heatmap to find the lowest ping servers and make sure you're covering those and continue experimenting with Congestion Control. You go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Upload and upload the .img file
-
You could increase it or decrease it, no two connections are the same so it might work better lower for example. Best to make a change then play, make a change, play etc. That's a good ping so shouldn't be any issues there, does it fluctuate a lot? Some people have success forcing servers with a slightly higher ping. There is one update available here: https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68

Is it giving you any sort of error at all when doing it via ethernet? Clear your browser cache/cookies - it may be the version number is cached and it actually has upgraded.
-
You're doing it via WiFi so it's probably disconnected you and may have reconnected you to your ISP WiFi. Sign back in and see if it worked, if not do the upgrade with a wired PC
-
As above, it wouldn't be possible and we don't have any recommendations
-
Your Ping Under Load graph would indicate that QoS needs to be fine tuned some more. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control (set to Always), say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. The goal is to get the Ping Under Load graph to look as much like the Ping Test graph as possible.

SBMM isn't something we support getting around so we wouldn't make any features specifically for that purpose. For forcing servers better see if this works: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client

Hello, welcome to the forum! Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? Does the game have region selection on consoles? -
How to setup VPN On xr1000 for ps5
Netduma Fraser replied to Reykc9510's topic in Call of Duty Support
As above, it's not currently a feature available on the XR1000 though it should come in the next update -
Congestion Control at 70% is a starting point and may not work for everyone so would be worth experimenting with the values to see if you find ones that work better for you. I'd suggest setting Ping Assist to 0 also. What is your average ping on the Geo-Filter and in game?
-
Exactly as above, we also don't have any specific recommendations for a VPN
-
Are you able to access the interface via a wired PC? Reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R2, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet
-
It is quite old, a firmware from quite near launch, would definitely recommend upgrading: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/50710-new-r2-firmware-33280/

17 is very good, is it a consistent ping or is it fluctuating, spiking up and down? Could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test as well as your QoS page please?
