XR1000 with vodaphone setup
Netduma Fraser replied to ScottySages's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You may need a modem/router for the XR1000 to be connected to but assuming that isn't the case you can access 192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.net in your web browser to go to the XR1000 interface and enter any PPPoE details you may need to get online -
This is most likely due to connecting to the interface with HTTPS instead of HTTP. Your browser may be forcing this, if you turn that on and force HTTP to the interface it should work without error.

Ataques constantes.
Netduma Fraser replied to LeGenD's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Okay great thanks, I'll get the team to try this tomorrow and get back to you.

COD MWIII GeoFILTER NOT FUNCTIONING ON XR1000v2
Netduma Fraser replied to hammonje's topic in Call of Duty Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely (including Battle.net from the System Tray) Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. -

Puede que valga la pena ponerse en contacto con su ISP para ver si puede hacer algo como bloquear las direcciones IP por usted. -
Control de congestión.
Netduma Fraser replied to LeGenD's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)

Need a big brain IT wiz!
Netduma Fraser replied to davemarsden132's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Big brain checking in! From what you've said there could be a number of scenarios that I could see: It could be the exchange potentially, I have two internet connections, one is fibre optic the other is openreach, they both go to the same exchange and I get a lower ping on fibre (as expected) so despite the difference in the connections they do end up in the same place generally. Realistically if this is the case, they are very unlikely to do something just because you have a bit of desync on a game. If the ping/stability of your line meets their minimum requirements then it'll be hard to get them to do anything about it. I don't know where your Mum is located but if she is in a less populated area and it works great then #1 could be the possibility here. The 4G connection, two things on this, one it could be that as you're just using the device to game you're not experiencing any local congestion which could be the same for #2 as well. Otherwise, the inherent instability of 4G and the generally higher ping could have you benefiting from lag compensation. Another possibility, depending on when you played could be peak time congestion and you may have a better experience playing during non peak times. The only other thing which I've mentioned already which could be it is you're experiencing local congestion i.e. many devices in your home using the internet at once causing your game to be in the network queue. In which case experimenting with QoS to find what works best for you may resolve it. -
If it's the R2 that the devices are getting an IP from then it shouldn't cause a NAT issue. Make sure the WAN IP of the R2 (found on the System Information page) is in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router (if applicable) and you should be good

Ah okay good to know, it's Deep Packet Inspection, inspects packets so it can prioritize them rather than just prioritizing everything going through a specific port so for example if you were playing a game on a PC but there were other programs using the same ports as the game, only the game traffic would be prioritized.

Not a bother at all! Geo-Filtering should work just fine with that setup, QoS may not work as well if not all devices are connected to it but with your speeds that's less of a problem. Put the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the DMZ on the router the R2 is connected to and you'll be good to go.

Disable the DPI as well in the same menu you disable QoS and see if it then works please

This is something we actually do have plans for in the future!

Depending on who you ask you may get a different answer but 1% I would consider acceptable, 2% it's getting to a point where it would probably affect your gaming. As you've got a new ISP though they usually tell you that it'll take a few weeks to 'settle' and during that time you could see some instability and speed loss so I'd suggest keeping an eye on it for a few weeks to make sure it doesn't get any worse and if after that time it hasn't resolved itself I would recommend contacting the ISP to take a look.
-
Did you disable it fully from the Congestion Control menu ?
-
Disable QoS/Adblocker and see if that then allows it to work
-
As I mentioned: Outside of that we're unable to support with circumventing SBMM.

A VPN you connect to specific servers in different countries, from there you will connect to a game server, you're adding additional latency. Geo-Filter blocks game servers outside your restrictions so you connect direct to the server and you basically pick the servers you want to play on.
