If you disable SmartBOOST entirely do you still see that problem?
-
Ah that's great to hear, thanks for the update!

We haven't specifically tested any mobile games as far as I am aware so I will pass this on for the team to take a look into

That's great to hear, thanks for posting the solution! -
Yes that's exactly how it would work if they all have filtering enabled, you can click each device and disable them from there if you don't want it to apply to one
-
You may have needed to reboot the devices after the IP reservation change so they pick up the IP properly. If you still get disconnects could you enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting and post back here from a device connected to the R3 please?
-
We are looking at it not being as reliable as it should be currently. Make your settings on the Geo-Filter, then reboot the console completely then check again, does it seem more consistent then?

Could you disable DHCPv6 as well please if that didn't disable when you disabled IPv6 and try again? It's very strange devices can connect directly to it without issues which indicates there aren't any settings you need to enter into the R3 specifically, it should just work -
Glad to hear you like it and are enjoying it overall! We're looking into the issues you mentioned currently. For Destiny 2 you'll have to use Geo-Latency to get filter it properly
-
Thank you for the kind words, we're glad you're excited and happy you liked the note!

Quando si crea una regola di inoltro porta, selezionare l'intervallo di porte invece della singola porta.

DHCP should be active on the R3 as it gives IP addresses to devices connected to the router. No just the WAN IP of the R3 (from Settings > WAN) in the DMZ on the other router and you're good to go.

I'm not sure, in the past when we've done Amazon we've only done US and UK. I will pass it on though, it's likely if you waited for that you wouldn't get the launch discount so you'd end up paying more that way

If you disable SmartBOOST fully does it work then? There isn't an option for that but I can request it

It's possible over the holidays or during peak times that the server will be easier to force as the game population will increase so its worth trying then -
XR500 to R3: Having Plenty of Issues
Netduma Fraser replied to Jones87's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It shouldn't be necessary but if you have a full power extender and notice any oddities with the router then best to check direct. Could you factory reset it then see if it is any more stable after that? If it isn't then I think we'll need to get someone to remote in, could you get it working again then enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting, disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN advanced settings please then post back here with a device connected to the R3 and I'll get a dev to have a look or at least enable some extra logging so we can try to figure out what may be happening. You are the first person having this problem so we're keen to get it resolved. -

Thank you for that, are you able to disable IPv6 on the Sky Hub? If so could you do that please, reboot the hub, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 2 minutes then check again please? -

We'll be implementing a page so that if you try to use the internet without completing the Setup Wizard it will redirect you so you know what to do. That is likely the Steady Ping feature on the Geo-Filter, it gives you a bit of a higher ping to create a 'buffer' that absorbs ping spikes/inconsistencies so you have one solid ping throughout the game so you're not affected by the spikes and have a smooth experience. You can disable this by clicking Steady Ping at the top of the Geo-Filter Map. -
Yes we think we can potentially increase the speeds with PPPoE so we'll be working on that. That could cause some NAT issues but if you put the R3 in the TP Link DMZ that should resolve it.
-
Of course! I have sent you a private message. Any new routers after we initially identified and fixed the issue will have been shipped with the firmware that fixes it. Other than that, if you get internet in the Setup Wizard it will prompt you to upgrade to the new version if you're still on the version with the issue. The MAC address won't match, that is normal. You mean the WiFi name/password wasn't correct from the start? What was the WiFi name set to?

Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
We'll make a Heatmap update but it doesn't affect the Geo-Filter at all. The Geo-Filter show all connections that are available so if they're not there it's possible they're not available at the time. -

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
You'd have to consult that routers manual to see which option will allow it to connect to a WiFi network rather than ethernet. Steady Ping increases your game ping to create a 'buffer' that absorbs any spikes/jitter from the game to give you one consistent ping throughout the entire game, creating a smoother experience overall as you don't feel the ping spikes. You can disable this by clicking Steady Ping at the top of the map or adjusting it's intensity. You'll need to be using Congestion Control in that scenario - you can find that in Ping Optimizer > Advanced There is that ability, you can do this from SmartBOOST > in the top right > manage profiles > click on profile > click the top right icon in that area for bandwidth reservation. You'll need to use Congestion Control
