Yes that should be the case, okay so on the flip side, with just your device added and steady ping disabled do you all then get the same ping?

need help EA FC 24 ping improuve with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Authentik06's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I mean you pinged the game server there while connected to the R3. So instead while you're connected to your modem do it to the game server -
I don't think we have specifically tested RingCentral so I will make a request for the team to get it classified, thanks for the report!

Can you provide the logs from HybridVPN when it fails please along with the OpenVPN config you're using?
-
I'm confident the team will be able to improve it!

That's great to hear, hope you enjoy!

Does anybody know when the new firmware is suppose to drop?
Netduma Fraser replied to Zepplike's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Sent to you both via PM -
Are you accessing the interface using HTTPS? If so use HTTP instead. Do you also have a browser based Adblocker enabled? If so disable that, then see if the error goes and you can ping.

R3 > Oribi (AP mode) > Device Manager

They may be showing offline, are they listed there? -
Sorry for the delay, a lot of posts to reply to! If you thought a router changes your routing to servers, it doesn't - I suppose that can be confusing by the name but we've never claimed to be able to do that or marketed it as such. ExitLag is essentially a VPN, that's why it can route you along the best path. If you connect direct to your modem without the R3 or ExitLag, what ping do you get to the game?

We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team will work on when they're back from the holidays. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. For you getting 100% speeds that's likely because you'll have Speed Test Bypass enabled (it is by default), turning this off would then allow you to see Congestion Control at work. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

Keep needing to reboot because this screen comes up
Netduma Fraser replied to gpadragon's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What do you mean it stalls trying to load exactly? - The screen from your first post? What web browser/device are you using to access? -
Firmware 4.0.23 does not work the steady ping graphics
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As there has been a few versions I would suggest doing a factory reset as it'll likely work much better. Simple is 8-10 yes, expert yes it should be slightly higher than the ping you receive normally -

Netduma Fraser replied to Authentik06's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Can you do the same PingPlotter direct from the modem as well please? -
Don't apologize, this is exactly the kind of the thing the devs need to see to be able to improve upon it. We will do!

Does anybody know when the new firmware is suppose to drop?
Netduma Fraser replied to Zepplike's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's brilliant to hear, thanks for the update! Sent Yes you can do that, one of the things we're proud of with DumaOS 4 is that it's fully workable with the app - no missing features! -
Sorry for the delay, I will respond to you in your topic

Some issues I encountered with firmware .23
Netduma Fraser replied to TG3NOC1D3's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The team are returning now, not everyone has arrived back but the work has begun, they're reviewing all the reports I've left them over the holidays (lovely presents for them haha!) so they'll be attempting to reproduce issues and identify the causes to make fixes. I suspect you'll see some firmware next week with issues being addressed. Upload is a funny one as a lot of people will never saturate their upload, so it staying at 100% may be legit, what is your upload speed? For denying, are you waiting a few minutes after denying before searching for a game again? If you are, is it definitely the same server? - Does it have the same ID? There are many servers clustered in the same location so it's possible its another server in that area you're connecting to. -
Not seeing a big difference in Wifi strength
Netduma Fraser replied to VeeDot's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thanks for the extra information, in terms of the extra features I have requested them, I don't know as to when they might be implemented. The team will want to fix any issues first I suspect before adding in new options. There have been a few people that have provided extensive testing feedback on the WiFi and the team is reviewing them currently to work on improving it - it will be one of their priorities. WiFi is a tricky one, we've done lots of testing on it but nothing can beat it being actually used by customers in different countries, homes, setups etc, it's why it's a hard one to nail down but I'm confident that with the team we have and DumaOS 4 that we'll get it resolved. You can see those details at netduma.com/terms -
Thank you very much for the detailed testing and explanations, this is exactly the kind of thing we're looking for regarding this issue, I will pass this onto the team. The team are aware some people are experiencing less than ideal WiFi performance so it's something they're keen to resolve.

To provide more information on how the router determines the strength it does the following: -65+ = Max -67+ = High -70+ = Mid -80+ = Low Does that correspond with what you've been seeing if you check the db values using an analyzer?
