As a test if you disable filtering on the Geo-Filter so you can still see servers and ping them, the one you got an impossibly low ping to, does it then show as the expected ping?

Port Forward Confusion/ possibly not working? - Palworld
Netduma Fraser replied to Zac's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Correct, change the source port range to 1-65535 and then have the destinations as the ports you need and see if it works then. Although it can be assumed it's using the same port for source it's not always correct -
Is it a VPN service you're wanting then rather than a VPN client? As above, any that you can get those config files from, we don't have the 'basic' setup from the previous routers, just the ability to add using configs

No yet, will be this week from what I've been told
-
It's likely in your junk/spam folder but we have shipped out the router today so you should have a tracking email
-
As above and you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/106-latest-firmwares/

Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

Great to hear that, thanks for the update!

What settings are you using for everything currently?
-
If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then. If not, if you disable the Geo-Filter before booting up the game does it then appear Open?

Perhaps a one off then, do keep us updated if it happens again, the new firmware should only help with it
-
It should definitely work if you do the above, let us know how you get on when you're able to!

They will show as inactive for the moment but should be working. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Without doing this step they won't be able to connect to your server. -
Glad that worked for you! Also worth trying with another browser as well

Hybrid VPN on The Netduma R3 - Current Status

Fingers crossed, good luck with the move! -
I suspect the longer the uptime the easier it is for the CPU to hit 100 consistently and cause issues so I don't think it'll be a problem on the new one coming

Bufferbloat and in game stutter with R3

As above, Speed Test Bypass must be disabled, CC set to Always and I would suggest removing Priorities on SmartBOOST as well as they could interfere with the test. -
Great advice above, there is also Congestion Control which on the whole will prevent devices saturating (using up) all your bandwidth and therefore preventing lag
-
It will support Wireguard yes, how would you be wanting the NAS to be connected? Via USB or WiFi/eth? If USB that won't be possible, if WiFi/eth I don't see why that wouldn't work.
-
What have you tried specifically? Without specifics it's very hard to me to advise steps to take
-
Yeah I know, it's just as a test for pinging, out of 10 games for example how many pinged vs didn't?
-
Any changes in the behavior?
