Xbox - Alternative port switches on its own
Netduma Fraser replied to Deasha's topic in Community Discussion
I don't think it can be intercepted but I will check and respond to you -
Have you factory reset and so the password has changed but you're connecting with the old password?
-
The downloads being slow are you noticing that everywhere or on specific sites/platforms? One of the devices connected via ethernet to the router is limited to 100Mbps - don't know if that is the one you're having an issue with at all but looks like it could be as you just have the two PCs connected via ethernet. Swap it for another cable and see if it is better then.

The only way I can think that might be happening is if it is trying to obtain the same IP or a different IP that another device already has which makes sense why setting a reserved one works as you force it to use a different one. It is better, it's not a hardware issue which is good because it can be easily fixed - the team are looking into it. No that is not an easily achievable thing at all. Try the suggestion above please and see if that helps. No he means that the OS can't just be put on other hardware. -
On Network Activity click the top right and click to show router traffic, do you see that traffic then? -- For everyone else if you could make new topics for any issues you're having it'll be much easier for me to help

Are you setting up the Geo-Filter before you launch the game? You will need to add your friends to your Geo-Filter allow list to connect to them.
-
Glad to hear you got that resolved, thanks for the update, I'll reply in your other topic

Sorry I actually meant it can't tell the game based on ports. It is bizarre, we'll be looking into it. -
We are trying to reproduce it currently, disabling IPv6/SmartBOOST seems to help prevent it

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
What were the circumstances regarding getting this server? If you were in a game then it's likely a dedicated server or a peer host -
fortnite Geo-Filter Does not work in Fortnite
Netduma Fraser replied to royalqx's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You will need to use simple mode and use Geo-Latency, otherwise it will not work - it's one of those games that is hard to filter. Also as above. -
How do I vpn but only for Warzone and not my web browser
Netduma Fraser replied to Cdog77's topic in Call of Duty Support
How far away is the server you're connecting to? It's possible they've either blocked the VPN IPs or you're hitting a ping limit. I think it's more using DPI actually -
Try disabling the protection options in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced. They can cause dropped packets so might be what is causing the VPN disconnects.

R3 Geo Filter not working as expected
Netduma Fraser replied to SamT98's topic in Community Discussion
The latest is the one I linked above. Make sure you do a factory reset after updating and do the suggestions from the 1st response in this topic -
People are saying the last few days it's been particularly bad, most likely due to the Season 2 update. You can disable Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter and your ping should drop back down.

Have you changed the password security method or changed the channels/widths? Picked a different region in setup?

Keep needing to reboot because this screen comes up
Netduma Fraser replied to gpadragon's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Did you do a factory reset after upgrading? -
You only need to set a priority once/one way, no need to prioritize it in multiple different ways Glad to hear you were able to get it sorted, thanks for the update!
-
Most likely it's due to the season 2 update, more people online so the servers are under more load, it'll likely calm down again in a week or so

Can't connect Netduma r3 via PPPoe
Netduma Fraser replied to liolio2277's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Some may show more/less information, for example that one doesn't show more specific location data so depending on the server you may not see it -
HybridVPN isn't live yet but as mentioned may come in the next update. As above I don't think comparing the WiFi between the two will tell you anything, the 1000 is twice the price of the R3 so you would expect it to be better.
