  1. In addition to the above is it just the gaming device being dropped from the game or does it lose internet as well? Do other devices lose internet? What game/platform are you playing? What firmware version are you on currently?
  2. That's really weird, it might be best to assign reserved/static IPs to your devices on the router so it prevents that happening
  3. The above is what it is and what the main benefit is but a lot of people use it to get around Geo restrictions e.g. so you can watch US Netflix for example
  4. Huh that's cool, looks like an automated email/what you might get if you specifically follow a topic. Mark as solution might be in a more up to date version of the forum software
  5. Okay do keep us posted!
  6. Oh yes of course, absolutely connect in whatever way is easiest for you
  7. The router itself must be connected via ethernet to your ISP modem/router/ONT in order to get an internet connection
  8. Quite possibly, if you provide a screenshot of the results with part of the IPs blacked out I can take a look
  9. There is a recommend button if you click the 3 dots top right of one of the posts in this topic but not a mark as solution button. Never knew that email went out!
  10. Thanks, I'll research and come back to you
  11. In game ping includes processing delay which all games have, that's why it is higher. Generally the lower ping you get the better experience you have so that makes sense.
  12. You need to have the WAN/internet port on the R2 (the port closest to the plug) connected to your modem then one of your devices connected to one of the LAN ports and you should get internet
  13. No worries at all, that's good information, I'll pass it on to the team to have a look.
  14. Nothing on that label that indicates the model, if you have a look on the interface itself can you get any more information on the model?
  15. All looks good on waveform there, as long as you have Congestion Control active you won't get anywhere near a max ping like that.
  16. That's probably why, remove them and try again
  17. You've just said though the game will not put you in local games at all due to your skill so it doesn't sound like it's going to be a guarantee the Geo-Filter can put you on them - the game still has to accept your connection to the server
  18. Do try the above, we have seen that helps generally
  19. Do you still have the port forwarding enabled on modem and XR500?
  20. I'd suggest factory resetting after the update as there is likely a big jump and remnants of the previous versions might be causing you issues
  21. Are you noticing any issues that line up with these entries at all?
  22. The team are working on the more pressing issues that people have reported so it won't be fixed in the next one but we'll definitely be getting it fixed
  23. I just replied to your other topic with the exact same video above!
  24. Exactly as above, sorry we can't help on this one!
  25. Your PC can't open the file, you need to access the router interface, go to Settings > Troubleshooting > Upload firmware and do it there
