Problem getting servers in overwatch
Netduma Fraser replied to gearsniper550's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. -

Problem with ipv6 on xr500

Very good advice above, keep us posted! -
A game won't always need DPI updates weekly/monthly etc. Are you noticing missing servers, misclassified servers, incorrectly located servers etc?

Hello, thanks for the laugh! So you said link 1 the file doesn't wprk - can you walk me through what happened there? So you're on the intermediate firmware that's great, next step is to download RC14 from the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5nk0fxkhzosvp2/XR500-V2.3.2.134-dumaos33-rc14.img?dl=0 if you're referring to when you click on the link where is says can't load this file type just click download underneath. Then try to upgrade to that firmware version, if it gives you an error then try upgrading to the RC10 firmware first. The message you got about the older firmware version is fine, you can just continue.

Okay great so it is working then! Is there a specific issue you're having with D2 we need to look at for a cloud update?

How to get OPEN NAT in COD PS5 with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Liarn's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We don't give out any ETAs on specific features/updates, we'll keep making improvements -
I'd suggest modem > R2 > XR1000 (AP mode) that way you get the features of the R2 with the additional more powerful WiFi of the XR
-
Could be the overlapping zones, delete one shape, then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

Problem with ipv6 on xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to dusky's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's great thanks, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it but could you disable the email logs option and also set NAT to Open in WAN Settings and see if it happens again please? -

Could you grab the logs from the System Information page when it drops please? The issue is though that the IPv6/Settings pages are a Netgear implementation so our advice on it may be limited -
It may show offline but does it appear on the main SmartBOOST graph when you're playing? If they're all showing on the graph then they'll be working and it's just a visual issue. If needed we can do a cloud update.

Other than what the others have mentioned, based on your Geo-Filter ping graph it looks as though you would benefit from setting Steady Ping to 15ms in the expert mode as your ping varies too much for the simple method to counteract it fully. Once you do that you should notice some improvement.

You can't specifically choose the game, if you're using a console you wouldn't need to anyway. If you're on PC you can change it to a console in the Device Manager then add it that way. The Geo-Filter is the feature that will allow you to force servers. You can specifically set a ping value to get games below nor can we guarantee you would be able to get games at that ping level as every connection is different - it may not be possible for you to get games that low.

You'll need to disable Geo-Latency as well and then it should work better

Do you know what firmware version you're on currently if you look on the app as you should be able to change it unless you're on an old one. I think you'll need to do a factory reset in this scenario. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface and see if it loads then please.

Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.
-
All that would be covered in the options in the config file - you just need the configuration file, enter it into HVPN, enter user/pass and you should be able to connect - if not if there are logs for the VPN please provide those and also provide the config you're using

You won't have set them if you don't know how to check so that's fine but they still could be getting the same IP. While connected to the router via the PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. Then turn on the other one and do the same thing please.

I don't think we've specifically tested it with the game but you'll be able to play it just fine with the router and may be able to Geo-Filter it though we can't guarantee it.
