As above, if your PC for example has an MTU set at 1500 it's still going to use that. You can use netsh interface ipv4 show subinterface in command prompt to check what MTU your PC is using (likely 1500 by default). What is your use case out of interest?
-
Are you using PPPoE/VLAN/IPv6 or DHCP Identifiers? If you disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN do the percentages then take affect?
-
Could you provide the ID of the server from the Geo-Filter please? Then we can take a look at what is happening
-
Make sure the console uses automatic network settings so it's not using the DNS you've set on the console itself and see if it works then please

Warzone Geofilter not working
Netduma Fraser replied to JustLikeThat86's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple mode instead of custom Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. -
As above that is the latest currently
-
Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
-
Is it showing with a white circle around it indicating it has been allowed? What is your ping showing in game when this happens?
-
Also check your ISP modem/router, if that has a conflicting MTU you should set it as the same
-
Looks like the IP there is cut off, I suspect if you edit or view it on a PC the IP will be the same. Change your DNS on the router to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and see if that helps please
-
Can you provide a screenshot of this change in IP? It's impossible for it to give it the IP of the router itself. I have seen this before, try this power off your ISP modem/router and R3, waiting 15 seconds and turning them both back on.

XR500 Factory Reset Loop
Netduma Fraser replied to MisterJinx420's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you manage to get into it then I would do a downgrade or upgrade. Otherwise I think the best bet is TFTP using the above method -
Saturate your connection with downloads while following this guide: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control (set on Always), say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.
-
Zoom out, do you see any other icons when that happens that are allowed?
-
The Congestion Control aspect will resolve that so you'll need to experiment with the percentages to find what works best - 70% doesn't work for everyone
-
As above, also I'm not sure what you mean regarding IP from Sony and IP from the router, can you clarify?

XR500 Factory Reset Loop

When you then complete the setup what then happens when you go back to the adv page, takes you back to setup again? When did this first occur, after anything specific? -
Can you provide a screenshot of what you see on the Geo-Filter when this server appears please?
-
Yeah I understand that, right at the start it will use a server to ensure you're connected to the online service, if that is blocked then it may result in the issue you're seeing. So just to double check, if you disable the Geo-Filter does it allow you on?
-
So you're actually getting a game outside the radius and it's showing on the map blocked but you're playing?
-
It's just a test to see whether that resolves the issue. If it does then it is likely a necessary server is being blocked that you can then look out for and add to your allow list to prevent it in future so you can re-enable the filter.

No Connection on Netduma R2 with Speedport
Netduma Fraser replied to Nez's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Ah that's great to hear, thanks for the update and solution! -
No you don't need to do that. It will still try to connect to servers outside your radius but they'll be blocked and then should go within your radius. If you're just covering the one server expand it to include at least one more and it'll speed up the search.

With the Geo-Filter off do you see the same behavior?
