Do you see any icons on the map at all when playing? Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.

Uninstall the app then reinstall it and see if it works then please

There isn't one really that suits it best so pick any, now you know what channels are allowed make sure you don't use any ones not listed there

So the ping on Geo and in game do match? There should be a UK server so you should get a much better result I would have thought. If you connect PS5 direct to the modem and play what ping do you get then?
-
I asked the team about this, we don't collect tons of data, it's more like what feature is clicked on the most etc. It doesn't add anything to the workload of the router. Doesn't help with bugs.

Do you keep the PS5 in an instant on/standby mode and do you leave the game on so when you go on the console and go on the game it basically skips the initial loading?

XR500 Connection Drops
Netduma Fraser replied to m0ngr3ll's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. -
That looks like a pure modem (no WiFi) so you can ignore what I mentioned above. What ping are you seeing on average on the Geo-Filter and in game?
-
Looks like you're trying to use routerlogin as the address, use http://192.168.77.1 and it'll work

XR500 Factory Reset Loop
Netduma Fraser replied to MisterJinx420's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Factory reset it from the adv_index.htm URL you're using or do so using the physical button on the router. Then wait 4 minutes and try accessing normally, if you're able to get through then after that go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please. -
I can't actually find anything on what SA allows/doesn't, they may have the information on your government website, in which case if you find that you can compare it with what is allowed for other countries/regions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels and then choose the country/region that is similar to what your country allows.

MTU - Enter a value or Leave default
Netduma Fraser replied to PharmDawgg's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As above, leaving it blank will automatically use what your ISP/modem sets -
Which router are you using and what firmware version is it on? What is the model of the modem/router the DumaOS router is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the DumaOS router? E.g. DumaOS router in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode How do you have Congestion Control and Geo-Filter set?

The port can change based on what the console asks for, on the Xbox you can set the port it uses in Network Settings
-
You should be able to get the logs from the app, Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced
-
You can try to change it using the details in this post: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Wi-Fi-5-AC-Routers/Region-change/m-p/507639

Can you not access the interface when you get a disconnect then? That's no problem at all!

XR1000 ANTICIPATED FIXES & ADDITIONS
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I've actually already mentioned PO to the team for the XR range so should be sorted for the next one -
Always best to make you're own topic so we can focus on you there. Is the log before or after a reboot as if it is after it won't have any useful information. What firmware version are you on currently?
-
No way to do that unfortunately, the game will always try to connect you based on whatever its parameters are and then when it can't it'll go with what you can connect to. 2 servers really isn't a lot, you're really banking on there being space for you/them not being overloaded etc at the time you play so I would definitely recommend trying to find other servers that play well for you.

Slightly Higher Ping - Better connection?
Netduma Fraser replied to kryptik66's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Most likely lag compensation yes or the server itself was less under load and so making it more reliable. You could try setting the Steady Ping higher to get the same effect but there is no guarantee it'll work that way -
That's a NG decision, it's locked to the region it was purchased from. This is more for your security as if you selected a region and a channel that is not allowed in your country you can get in trouble. It's not that simple, you can't just use the capabilities of a site that way without some sort of agreement in place.

That's great to hear, thanks for the update!

Actual ping vs R3 reading. HUGE difference
Netduma Fraser replied to lefteris.lydios's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Great thanks, this is a good example, I'll pass it on to the team
