NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I heard that NG are wanting to release it officially at some point but it'll essentially be the same firmware, probably with a few security updates -
You could do that, less work for the router to do I suppose. Are you unplugging the router? If devices are being connected to it then it will update the allocations. Not particularly, you just need to upgrade to the intermediary firmware then the beta version or intermediary > beta RC10 > beta RC14. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes

What do you mean it feels like it's restricting your internet? Is a speed test reflecting that behavior? We'll have a fix for the interface access issue, in the meantime, disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and that should stop it happening as much.

Issues with R3 connecting to home pods

The version number is still to be decided (it'll be 100+) but whatever the number it'll be the next one available. -
About netdum r3 speed test on ps5
Netduma Fraser replied to sufangyu0316's topic in Community Discussion
If you actually do a game/update download is it downloading at the expected speeds? The console speed tests themselves are not always accurate - it even says on them that they are estimates. -
We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. Could you expand on the Geo-Filter issues? What firmware version are you on currently?

Advanced WAN settings don’t save

Great to hear you got it sorted and thanks for posting the solution. As your issue is resolved I will close this topic, feel free to open another if needed and we'll be happy to help. -
Internal Server Error - Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to justinzepeda13's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Give the router a reboot and see if you can then access via both methods please -
Okay so this might work but it is dependent on if what I remember is correct! Upgrade to beta: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ Set Congestion Control how you normally would (maybe leave upload as a higher percentage e.g. 80-90%) and set to Auto Enable For Bandwidth Allocation set the download low for the gaming device - it'll balance out for other devices. Then in Bandwidth Allocation menu disable Share Excess for just the download I *think* the ability to disable Share Excess for download/upload separately is an option on that firmware. If not then I don't think there is a way to achieve exactly what you want, there would be a trade off.

You should be able to just switch Filtering back on once it's been added and use it that way. You could also remove PC from the Geo-Filter, give the PC a PlayStation device type in the Device Manager then re-add it to the Geo-Filter with the manual option and it will add it with the Games Console option and be able to filter.

Will likely be the above/what I mentioned previously, if you address that can you access without the tour?

Copy and paste is working for me. I'll let the team know it's not working when typing it in manually, thanks for the report!

Firmware link on forum doesn't work
Netduma Fraser replied to PattPatt17's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The upgrade steps are in the firmware topic but you can't open the file on the PC Go to the Netduma R3 user interface on your PC/laptop. Navigate to >Settings >Troubleshooting and then click Upload Firmware. Choose the file and then upload it. You'll need to wait a few minutes for the upload to complete.. -
That's what it is for our range of routers, routerlogin.net/192.168.1.1 is for the XR range

Internal Server Error - Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to justinzepeda13's topic in Netduma R3 Support
So try http://192.168.77.1 or http://dumaos That makes absolutely no sense, it's just uninstalling the app from the phone not uninstalling the router software. What firmware version are you on currently? -
Is that how you've been trying to access it? It's via 192.168.77.1 or dumaos Do you require PPPoE/VLAN/DHCP Identifiers to get internet?
-
It may be the ethernet cable you're using to connect the PC to the R3 is faulty, do you have another you can try with?
-
Are you connecting via WiFi? If so and you changed the WiFi settings you'd need to reconnect to the WiFi with the new credentials. Also if you changed the interface login credentials you'd need to login with those new details as well.

constant dropping connection even when plugged in directly.
Netduma Fraser replied to vvv's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thanks for that, can you set the DHCP lease to 10,000 minutes and give the PS a static/reserved IP please and see if that resolves it? -
Geo-Filter Not working on XR100
Netduma Fraser replied to xxsamfisherxxsam's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It'll be a coincidence as regardless of the DumaOS version you can't influence where players connect -
I can't reproduce that so I think it must be resolved in the next one. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

Internal Server Error - Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to justinzepeda13's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you able to access the interface via a web browser when you get this error? It's just an app for changing settings, it wouldn't impact anything just by uninstalling it
